For what it is worth I went through and redid the English Lyrics to make them fit the cadence of the song better. Hopefully I was able to retain their intended meanings, but the translation in the video is probably more "accurate". Ngl the beat is low key fire at 0.25x speed. Its also useful catching the exact pronunciation for the russian parts especially thanks to the romanization.
Fantastic upload with the exception of the adbreak that interrupts the mood. This song was perfection. Along with the on-point work from the animation team for this series, it set the mood PERFECTLY for a 30 minute dive into the GitS universe. The SAC team understood this universe FAR better than the remake's team does.

New reboot isn't worthy of her anyway. Generic, low-quality, "3D" animation. They tried but really just didn't understand the spirit of the GitS universe.
I would die for the Major and everybody in section 9 just because I admire everyone's loyalty and professionalism they work altogether like a well oiled machine and I love it when i see that work in SAC.
I think they knew that going into this but given that they wanted to translate Russian alphabet and English with Russian pronunciation, the spacing might have looked wonky. I've done editing before to understand that text and space don't really function as we wanted to. Especially if you're using movie maker, which is something that's being used here obviously. Plus transitioning text by lyric is soooo time consuming that at this point you're like "fuck it if the words land on the pictures" lol. I would have told them to make the picture translucent like reading a watermarked novel or something in that manner. All I'm saying is that TEXTING IS ANNOYING TO WORK WITH.

2045 was better than I expected. The doll style 3D animation took a bit of getting used to, though. Give it at least three episodes. The setting changes (for the better) about half way through the season.
the new one on Netflix is surprisingly really good. I didn't like Arise either but they did a good job on this one. i'm just glad its getting well deserved love brought back to the show i've missed it

Am I the only one bummed they didn't use this in the live action movie of Ghost in the Shell? Also there's a Netflix anime called Ghost in the Shell:2045 which is a sequel to the original anime. Which they used her songs in it. It's not bad.
One correction @ 4:28 There is supposed to be an alteration to the verse that reads "We're not soldiers, Stand or die." that is unique to the end of the song as a nod to civilians caught in war but you reused the verse that is repeated which is "we are soldiers, stand or die. which is incorrect."
