Cain and DC are two of the most likable people in MMA. Love these guys. Great interview. 👍
Yeah except DC always on his nuts
Cain love u bro....
Cain I wanna trip with ya brotha....
@@craigman7262 You would be blessed to have a friendship as solid and supportive as DC and Cain.
@@strengthandhonor9334 is that why DC didn't help train him for the ngannou fight?
One of the most interesting interviews in MMA Hour history.
Wow! Cain does look as if he is in a good place in his life. Moreover, he was charismatic, articulate, and philosophical. Definitely, a new Cain. 👍🇲🇽
Are you sure about that
This aged like milk
Nvm you right
@@cowwy3130 so did our comments
@@jmodean5312 I think we should stop talking cuz we probably gonna jinx Cain again 😂
Wow. I needed to see this interview. While I followed Cain's career, I wasn't a die hard fan. I was very impressed how this interview was so profound and introspective and it really resonated with me today. I did 5 Ayahuasca ceremonies in Peru in 2013 and as Cain spoke about his experiences I couldn't help but recall some of mine. The way Cain spoke about how the plant medicines had helped, I remembered feeling that and so much lighter about life and my own experiences. Sadly, I don't feel that way anymore as I've allowed myself to be consumed and burned down by the human condition and the state of the world etc. It hurt me to realize this. When Cain spoke of little victories mattering as much as the big ones, it really helped me put some things into perspective. I need to do some work on myself. Thanks Ariel and Cain so much for this interview. It made a difference.
@Daniel McNamara Thanks so much for your response, Daniel! Gonna try and take time to meditate. Really hard to quiet the mind, though : )
Well said.. I'm in tears because of the energy he's giving. It's hard to explain, but if you know you know..
Maybe it’s time to go back to the medicine ?
Literally In tears hearing the Champ, finding victories on the little things!! The Champ sounds so in the moment, truly that's all we've got . Really happy for the Champ
Ariel got Cain to talk about psychedelics first. Rogan must be crushed, will teach him not to spread falsehoods about The Nose.
What Rogan & Schaub said weren't falsehoods.
@@basedinstinct they always lie

@@Nick-ms5rj Joe wouldve drifted into chimpanzees fighting and elk meat "pull that up jaime" lol
Cain is a LEGEND and will forever be my HW GOAT. I know Stipe had a longer HW championship reign but the fights and finishes that Cain put on were exceptional. Very good to hear he’s doing good these days and glad he looks very happy. Met him while he was Champ and got an autograph and will never forget that.
Hes clearly not the goat lol he was good

Damn Cain it was great to see you were in such a good space blessed by god God.. and now I see you're in jail now I hope you find peace brother! And I hope everything goes well for your family.
What a honest, thoughtful conversation. Cain more power to you Sir. Thanks for sharing your story
Why could this not be a longer interview?? I've been looking into philosophy, stoicism, meditation, et cetera. But I've wanted to look into ayahuasca - the journey in it all. Cain touched on a few things that hit home. Glad he's in a good place. Will always be Champ. #cainvelasquez #phoenix #arizonapride #602 #weallhaveourjourney
Don’t take that stuff. Ahhaha no matter how much you “look into it” I swear to god it’s nothing you can ever prepare from. It’s like parachuting without a parachute. Stick to shrooms and acid, even those can mess you up alone
@@bperez003 nah. it won’t mess you up as long as you’re not schizophrenic and you have restraint. i’ve done nn dmt not ayahuasca and you’re right that it’s an experience nothing can prepare you for, it’s like being blasted into the cosmos of an inner dimension but that’s a vague explanation words are limiting
The echo from where Cain is added to the ambience of the message!!
Cain is a great person. Awesome interview!
Cain was the greatest heavyweight I ever witnessed, even greater human being. #respect
Cain Fedor and maybe Gane are the three names in that conversation
I think Gane has potential for undisputed goat hw status
@@booooo-urns I think only Gane has the potential to be a better HW than Cain. But I think Cain is still more complete, but if Gane continues like he does, he might beat prime Cain.
Cain what a old G. Never say never he’s a pro wrestler now. Respect the mental talk. Needs to be talked about more
This interview was the first thing I thought of after the news of Cain's arrest " idk where I would be if I didn't have a outlet for that " talking about losing his brother and his mom in the same year.
I love Ariels passive aggressive questions "When you finally responded to me on Monday"
it was actually SO aggressive that both started laughing
Nah, it's a joke. He's not really being passive, he's being open. People are just soft and except everyone to not be straight forward.
Passive aggressive.
Cain seems like a genuine nice guy. Kudos
IMO, Cain could have been the greatest UFC HW of all time.
Indeed. Seemed to have a hard time with injuries etc. He made his mark for sure and could beat ANY past champion on his day.
He just sparred way way too hard. Same with fighters like Micheal Johnson, just gave way too much in training
He's still and will always be my favorite UFC Heavyweight- he was a great fighter and is an even cooler human being.
Prime Cain is for me the best HW ever because he beats every HW. Prime Cain beats Stipe
Yeah he had a tough fight with werdum
#FREECAIN
The best heavyweight in his prime. I’m not sure how he’d beat an ngannou or a gane but with his movement and speed in his prime i think he could beat them.
He already lost to Ngannou and as for Gane I think it would be a very close match up and a very technical fight a real 50/50 fight
@@da-chillzone9269 he said :"in his prime he could beat them"
Nah ngannou crushed him
@@MrBernardosanchez thats not true tho
@@jamespaul6315 more than true, only time Cain lost was from injuries anyone who knows two things about MMA specifically the UFC would know that
I went to Kofa high school with him and his brother. Great guys
Interviewers need to take notes and stay the hell out of the guests way. Ariel asks a question and only speaks when needed until they finish. His next question is always ready to go but you can tell he actually listens to what they're saying. It's a rare talent these days
Wow this is special, Cain. Never thought I would be interested but wow everyone in this earth goes through the same stuff, even the heavyweight champion of the world
Wow just wow . I wish I would have seen this live. Wish I could have been there with my brothers & sisters from the MMA hour chat .
Some day I will tell my grandchildren about this

UFC gotta cut Cain a 1 million dollar check.
He should have got that at least for each of his fights as a champion

I think not many people can actually understand what he's saying here but it's awesome. When he said " they are you" it resonated with me. Weeks ago I had a boy asking me for money out on the parking lot. I couldn't understand him and I actually thought he was on drugs. My first reaction was to ignore him, but then I had a sudden weird feeling/thought that he was actually me. I gave him some money after that. That's the first time I had ever felt that and I can't actually explain it entirely nor understand it myself.
