You really see how this program evolved over the season. Their first version was very interesting in many respects with a ton of great highlights. But I found it a little over the top in terms of expression and presentation. I liked how they dialed that back. Less is more after all.
Большое спасибо за это видео,все хотела увидеть,какую они поддержку в конце программы не сделали на олимпиаде. Здесь отлично все видно. Смотрела интервью Платова,где он говорил,что они понимали друг друга с полуслова и на олимпиаде только переглянулись перед этой заключительной поддержкой и поняли друг друга сразу и не стали рисковать. Ещё раз большое спасибо за видео.Так здорово наблюдать за теми изменениями,которые проходили в программе!!!!
Наверно даже у ТАТ нет такой роскошной панорамы))). Когда Женя падает , я до сох пор боюсь, чтоб он не разбил голову о её конёк. Мне кажется, это очень опасно было.
This is one of my all-time favorites, but I will never understand why that lift at 3:38was added in and kept. This is a great example of showing how it looked awkward every single time they performed it.
Agreed, they never seemed to get comfortable with this one. They were better when their thing was lots of difficult steps and transitions at done at lightning speed. This was less of that, more of dialing up the histrionics, at least for Pasha (and Krylova said: Hold my martini). Wasn't this supposed to be a memorial to Gianni Versace and also the people of Sarajevo... somehow?
@@timothyhh originally, It was written to commemorate the deaths of 39 fans, almost all Italian, at the 1985 European Cup final between Liverpool and Juventus at the Heysel Stadium. But Grishuk and Platov dedicated this program to all the sportsmen and all the hard things they go through to be the best. Tarasova in her book writes a lot about this ...
I also love this free dance. The way they keep gliding over fast yet very quiet running edges, carving out huge patterns on the ice, extending their free legs in unison with one another, and did everything with little set-up time was just incredible. It really shows how they get such a quiet push to the blade but they get their speed and flow out of virtually nowhere. That being said, that lift was indeed awkward.
they were great skaters and a lot of things they did perfect, but lifts in general weren't their strengths (even though Oksana was tiny in comparison to Platov and they shouldn't have any problems with them)

@@Justforfun-ke7bg Platov had knee problems throughout his career so maybe that's why lifts were not their strength
