This is hilarious. The awful CGI stood out so much. One or two scenes is fine, but he had it for almost all his scenes... And Joss deciding to open with it made it distracting IMO.
This was the most jarring thing to me. I was waiting to see how it was going to turn out, then BAM! Right at the beginning of the movie. And then for the majority of his scenes. It looked crazy.
It's just like "why?" He was dead for a while and has a Ra's Al Ghul post resurrection tick of insanity, so why would he need to be clean cut? Should've had his hair all fucked up looking like a super powered hobo beating all the ass instead of this perfect specimen looking thing, THEN you cut back to him all clean shaven Clark back in blue talking to Alfred. Side tangent: I'm sorry guys, but shit on MOS all you want but these are the small things that Snyder accounted for in MOS that are sorely missing. CG mouth? Fuck that, he'd have a full beard because why the hell not?

Unfortunately, at that point, Gal Gadot would've cut her hair short for another unrelated movie (as in, Bob-cut kinda short), forcing Warner Brothers to spend $80 million for reshoots, most of it would be for Wonder Woman's hair and causing the budget to reach $450 million +++ DC ends up bankrupting itself when Justice League 2 bombs due to competition from Dr Strange 3, while DC fans melt the internet complaining that Wonder Woman's hair looks like Medusa from that Inhumans show ^0^
Rob Lee killcounts they refused to learn from marvel. Chris evans never has a beard before infinity, yet he still play capt with beard and how many times did black widow change her hair. A LOT OF TIME. Yet the film still goes on. Wb's strict to their own rule is confusing sometimes.
This doco is too fast paced. Would have been better if we could have had a solo doco on each character. It's really choppy. I mean Mark Reilly for example.... where did he get his suit from? What is his reason for wanting the mustache gone? Does the tattoo contain his mother? When none of these are addressed he just appears as a one dimensional character. I rate this 41 out of 100

I totally believe Finstock as a Paramount exec. Please do more of these. I dont blame either company for the mustace thing. Imagine Henry shoot like 50% of his part in mission impossible 6 with a real stache and they make a deal to leave and shoot jl reshoots and he returns for the other 50% with a fake stache that it is noticable, we would have some of these issues we have today, but on the other hand practical makeup should have been way better than a digital stache. For the length he had it, it takes me more than a month to grow it back that size myself.

Paramount was adamant that why should they have to be held up on this because WB needed extended reshoot to hold up their production schedule..... and then Tom Cruise broke both his ankles a few days later.
Cause the buyout contract was worth millions, WB probably calculated that it'll be cheaper for them to just use cg over buying the contract to allow Cavill to shave.
My buddy had no idea that this mustache controversy was going on and after he saw the movie he was like "what the fuck was wrong with superman's mouth "! Bad job WB
If the mustache was such a big deal, I don't understand why they just couldn't have had Henry Cavill grow a full beard for Justice League, no CGI and everything would look natural and it would make sense, as he was incapacitated. Then just trim the beard down to a mustache for his role in Mission Impossible. Simples!

This was a documentary, so you should be comparing him to someone like Scnhepp, who did the The Death of Superman Lives documentary.
