That baby would've been 30 yrs old now. My daughter was born in 1994. We adopted her, receiving her when she was 5 days old. I think of her when I hear these stories. My daughter's birth mom hid her pregnancy but loved her enough to give her life. Her mother helped her find parents for the baby. Today, I'm a mom & a grandma. It's awesome. This poor family.

@discobikerAndRosie I love hearing adoption stories, all of them. I gave my baby up for adoption in 1975 - not because I didn't want him, but because I loved him enough to give him the life I never had (Mom and Dad, a home, a family), but giving him up almost killed me. I drowned my pain in drugs and alcohol, until I decided he wasn't going to see a tombstone when he went to meet his birth Mother. We're very close today, he'll be 50, and (just like God promises/tenfold blessings) - today I'm a Grandma to two, have two Daughter In Laws (along with their families), and I'm a Great Grandma of 5. God gave me back tenfold. Best choice I ever made. Thank you for sharing your story.
Evil Intention - I'm new to your channel, I like your narration, presentation, and that you answered questions about this tragedy. Thank you, I liked and subscribed. (I'm usually not this breathy🙄) One thing I noticed is that the visuals seem to go by so fast, they didn't have time to register... I think it would enhance your video if they went by a hair slower (they flipped by like the old time cartoon calendar pages 😁) My best.

@ColleenLytle-sq8tx God bless you. The Lord knew you loved your child & He watched over you during the hard times. My daughter knows her birth mom & immediate family. I insisted on an open adoption. I wanted my baby to know where she came from. I'm so glad you have a big family now! TY for sharing your story! I know giving your son to someone else was very tough!

I am 61 and have never commented on any story before but feel due to two experiences in my life I need to share.i had a young babysitter 17 who cocealed her pregnancy luckily she had the baby and all turned out well in the end but just giving birth on your own is so dangerous and traumatic when I talked to her after she said she was scared and ashamed she thought she had let her parents down by getting pregnant ,another' close friend of mine concealed her pregnancy and the first her whole family where aware was the day she gave birth.both these cases are obviously different to this case because both babies are fine healthy adults now,but I know these girls where very traumatised to coceal the birth.i feel this young woman was hugely mentally unstable and the fact she held on to her baby in the way she did proves it let's face it she could have dropped her bay just about anywhere before going to airport and leaving the country and nobody would have even known but she held on to it I don't believe for a minute any of this was planned action she was completely mentally unwell these things are far from black and white unfortunately ❤

I feel you on that. Every single one is one I haven’t seen. When Jose drops a video, I zoom through everything I planned to complete. I shower, pop some popcorn for the hubby, and pour a glass of wine for me. Hubby’s so funny. He sits up in the bed and stares at me. He’s like yum, popcorn 🍿and wine?🍷 then belts out and another one. Then air beats the drums, lol.🥁
So I say, ha-ha, DJ Khalid. He says to me Jose dropped another video, huh? I'm not paying attention or thinking about what he’s yapping about because I’m trying to get comfy in bed to watch the video. So I say, unhuh! He starts dfl so hard and loud. I’m like, babe! Jeez, Louise, be quiet before you wake up the baby. He looks at me and says, you don’t get it? At this point, I’m a little annoyed and say, between shown teeth, get what, babeee?🤷🏾 Lmao! He looks at me with this look, talking about when I said and another one. You got it because you called me DJ Khalid. At that moment, it hit me that he said and another one and beat the invisible drum, lmao, because he was trying to be DJ Khalid. Hahahaha!😂😂🤣🤣 to make me laugh.😆😆
      My husband:😐😒
I had to tell this story because my husband is so funny to me and adorable. Let’s just say I had the best laugh before watching the tragedy of little Olivia Ann’s murder. R.I.P. Baby Olivia.❤❤

Everything that comes after is traumas ,grief, What sound like perinatal depression and dissociation. Extreme, yes ,absolutely, but very obvious after having the facts. @dansweda712 I understand, but I honestly believe she used her friend as an excuse. That could've been a beautiful thing they could've shared together during her last days. It may have even given her a new burst of life thinking about the little person who will be taking her place. She didn't even allow the father her boyfriend to try to help her figure it out. She assumed it would've taken the shine away from her friend, but honestly, I think that baby would've brought everyone closer . She never called for help she didn't even tell him .she took his chance of being her father away because she was selfish. Even though it was stated by him, they did speak of wanting children . She was just pure evil.

You are absolutely right, Jose, Olivia Ann did NOT have to die! Had the mum had the support required, the baby would now be a grown woman. I live in Great Britain, I am formerly from NYC. I have worked with women with pre and post natal depression and those with post natal psychosis. Out here we have what’s called ‘mother and baby units’ for mums who have mental ill health. We do not believe in separating mums from their babies as it is very important that they bond. Obviously IF the baby will suffer from significant harm at the hands of the mum, then of course they will not place the baby in that harm. This is a tragic story and the way you reported it respected everyone involved.

She needed help. So awful that nobody noticed her pregnancy or urged her to see a psychologist for depression. She seems to have been absorbed into her boyfriend's family but didn't she have any family of her own? Nobody she could confide in? That's tragic, if so. But yes, she was clearly in shock while delivering that poor baby alone in a hotel room in a strange city and unfamiliar country. Out of her mind, indeed. Not a cold blooded murderer, in my opinion, but a frightened, physically compromised young woman who had nobody she could trust to help her. Just so terribly sad. Hiding the corpse under her clothes is weird, definitely, and it makes no rational sense unless you consider that she might have wanted to keep the baby close to her for emotional comfort. To bring her home for a proper burial, maybe. Impossible to know what was going on in her tortured mind.

If she were just evil, she’d have disposed of the baby in New York, like in a dumpster or in the sewer. She would not have tried to smuggle her on a plane to London! I have worked with women with both and it would likely surprise you to now that there are cases of women with PND who believe that their very alive 3 month old is dead ! We should not judge, these cases are completely different from women who starve and torture their kids or pass them around to be abused. Mental illness would still have been so stigmatised in 1990’s in the U.K they were only beginning to understand PND never mind Perinatal depression? I'm genuinely convinced she had a severe form of depression and was in a state of shock/psychosis. Does that mean it's ok-no but mental illness is unreal. I used to think a lot of untrue things about mental illness. I saw my sister, after a traumatic event kinda just become a shell of herself. It started affecting her mothering. I used to say "it doesn't matter I've been depressed and id NEVER allow it to affect my ways of mothering etc". Until I had emergency surgery almost died, my mother died, I got a cancer diagnosis, had several surgeries, my father died, and my relationship became abusive, all in a 3 year time span. My God I don't even know how I was functioning. While my son was with his dad I "took a week to myself" next thing I knew it had been 6 months and I had no idea how time flew. I had emotionally abandoned my son and did irreparable damage. I became the thing I never understood. I finally snapped out of it and am getting help and slowly repairing my relationship with my son. But honestly I think she mentally avoided the fact she was pregnant. Like extreme denial. Then when she had it it immediately put her in an overwhelmed state and panic. She wasn't calculating anything at that point she was just in autopilot survival mode.

I think this woman was slowly slipping into mental illness. But both her & her boyfriend seem like super procrastinators. Dating for ten years, not engaged or married yet. I think she didn’t want to announce her pregnancy when her dear friend just had a hysterectomy. Then her friend was super sick again, then she died. From keeping her pregnancy hidden for so long she put it off yet again so not to ruin the trip. Time was up. Paul on the other hand was a bad bf for not visiting. I am glad she was able get mental health help.
In my lifetime I have heard stories of hounderds of women who kept the pregnancy secret and as many reasons. Mostly out of fear that balls up ,round & round like a ball of yarn until it turns into fear induced phobia or mental illness of some sort.

He sounds like an awful boyfriend if he could leave her in that much pain in order to not waste a fun night out. Kinda sad and shows that there was a lack of love and respect already and it’s easy to understand why she would not want a baby with him. Especially after the loss of Allison, which clearly affected her. It’s very sad because that little baby was the true victim and her mother’s heart or father’s pride.

Thank you, I feel the same, and reading other comments, I felt like I was watching a different video. For whatever reason, Caroline didn't have enough support. She wasn't an evil woman, ready to murder her baby and go off sight seeing, she was a woman in mental distress, perhaps psychosis, being presented with an unbearable set of circumstances and resulting mental load (unplanned pregnancy, grief) that are significant for anyone, even in good mental health, to deal with, and she couldn't handle it all and had a mental break. There are plenty of stories of women who suffer greatly and harm their children and that are treated with empathy (Andrea Yates, Lindsay Clancy are two) and I see this story no differently. The concept of peripartum depression must not have existed in the 90s, it certainly does now.

      @PureBelovedParsley 5 месяцев назад +15

Important to remember that procrastination is about fear. I’m sure there was underlying fear that was deeply subconscious, and then put immeasurable grief on top of that. Grief over the loss of a close friend can last for years, and it sounds like she went into denial about even being pregnant or how bad her grief was, and completely negated her own needs. The fact that she kept the baby to bring it home means she wanted or cared about the baby. Tragic story. She was not a threat to others. She needed help/therapy. Glad she eventually got it. Punishment is the lowest form of discipline/teaching. Her inability to care for herself, inability to recognize her own needs, inability to self-advocate, inability to take responsibility for herself, resulted in tragedy and loss of life. Hopefully she has managed to gain a life of hope and service to self and others.

My Dearest Evil Intentions,This story is not only sad but heartbreaking....It reminds a little of Andrea Yates the woman who killed her children....I think that family members and husbands and or boyfriends should pay attention to their significant others and seek help if seeing any odd behaviors ... Something so little that is noticed on time could possibly save a childs life....Thank you for telling this story...Rest In Paradise,Baby Girl 🙏💯💔....

She says, "I did nothing wrong", what??? She suffocated her healthy 8lb newborn, then threw it in a plastic bag and carried it around her neck, then when caught just tossed it on the floor. No, none of that was wrong. I see her as baby killer. She knew exactly what she was doing. Looking at her all smiles and giddy in front of the cameras is nauseating. I guess in England murdering a baby is no bigger a crime than stomping on a spider. Disgusting.

Somone calculated and evil wouldn't walk around with dead baby in airport trying to fly out. Mental health exists and people need to understand mistreating mentally ill people and throwing them in jail won't fix it.

Whaaat?!? So, in order to overcome your grief you kill a baby? I have lost both my parents, and a brother who slowly died of cancer, but never imagine to take another creature's life to "cope" with it, not even a fly's.

Sounds like how she was raised factored in to a lot of this. Parents piled blame on her fiance and the US justice system. Neither she nor her parents ever thought a moment about the baby - they just shielded her daughter from any accountability. That woman is free, living her life and learned nothing. RIP Olivia.

I hv to say: its awfully fucked up how ppl all over live their lives just fine knowing how inconsistany, corrupt, and unjust the judicial system is, right up until one of they OWN is locked up. Only THEN is the justice system and jails/prisons in general considered "barbaric and archaic ".

As somebody from Northern Ireland what the judge said, despite being true, tells me volumes about which side of things he would have been on. He’s the sort that, being Irish American, likely funded the IRAs bombing campaign in the UK and Ireland. A lot of Irish Americans have blood in their hands in a country most of them have never even been to.

Good job reporting the facts of this case. I did find myself torn, but as a mother, who also went through extreme mental health issues and suffered intense domestic abuse during my pregnancies, I could NEVER harm my child! I would, in fact, protect them with extreme ferocity. My daughter was born Sept 8, 1994, so much of this hit home with me.
I do commend you, sir, for your ability to look at both sides of this sad, sad case and present it without bias. Great job! Thank you.

I'm going to be that person. I find it interesting that mental illness always seems to be factored in when "certain" people commit crimes. Yet, I rarely hear mental illness being brought up when not "certain" people commit crimes, and I've listened to a lot of cases. The fact that the case turned into a pissing contest between dad (UK) and his black sheep son (US) and less about poor innocent Avie is sickening. The fact that this woman was photographed smiling like a Cheshire Cat when she got back to jolly ole England is sickening. Everything about this is sickening. As always, great storytelling. Rest in peace, baby girl Avie!🕊🌹

Does that include the certain people getting away with grooming and abusing young girls in the UK or the certain people flooding our country with drugs or the certain people who kill their child, drive the body to a friends garden to bury it and then only recieve 6 years in prison for it... I tell you tho, all those "certain" people don't need to worry about sunscreen...
