Huntin' for Skulls on Zeta Halo? Here's your guide! A further note - Apparently it is possible to get the Catch skull early on with Grapple, you don't have to use a Wasp. It's probably easier with a Wasp or Banshee, but just note that air vehicles are not necessary :)
Hi HiddenXperia, could you please make a video explaining the story of Halo Infinite and how it connects with the whole Halo lore and also the future of next Halo series.
I was out wondering the wilderness and found a door on a small forerunner structure sticking out of the cliff wall. It wasn't very big and the door (cover?) had apparently been removed and was lying on the ground revealing the door that you had to grappleshot to. It was about 10 ft off the ground. I never could figure out how to open that door. It showed an option like you could? Is it a bug (i'll report it) or have you encountered it and figured it out? Just curious. Fun game. I played 12 hours yesterday :).
My experience with the grunt birthday party skull actually terrified me. I was swinging around looking for skulls and when I swung past that window I saw 4 energy sword elites run to the window and turn invisible. I thought the Banished sent the Silent Shadow after me there for a moment Edit: Glibnub(Grunt Comms Officer) actually has a quote, an albeit rare quote, that tells you a pack of cloaked elites are trailing your every move or something like that
I saw that too. I think it’s a really cool detail that they left in, since the room that all those elites are in is the room that you came out of meaning that they are hunting you. Glad to see someone else saw this!
IWHBYD is the only skull I've found. I was looking for the armor locker after the tower and it kept pinging the top so I spent like 5 minutes figuring out how to get up top lol
I love how the campaign basically teaches us how to utilize the grappling hook to its maximum potential, I never would've found the IWHBYD skull if it wasn't for this guide.
The IWHBYD skull is the only one I found on my own, my game glitched out and I couldn’t activate the grav lift to enter the tower so I got l frustrated and scaled it. I forgave the game when I saw the stage and album
Quick note, for the Catch skull, you actually don’t need a banshee or wasp to get to that island, but having an upgraded grapple helps. If you climb onto the cliffs just behind outpost tremonius (directly above the door where the Spartan core is) there is a small enough gap where you can jump and grapple across. I stumbled across it while just exploring the map and trying to get the bounty targets as they popped up. Hope this helps other skull hunters!

The IWHBYD skull was the only one I found by myself on my first play through without looking anything else up. It was such a good feeling to climb up there and get it before I defeated Chat Lok. He made it look a lot easier.
I appreciate that all of the skulls are both well-hidden, and have some kind of fanfare. They aren't just in a hole somewhere or randomly on top of a high place; they have to be taken from the cold dead hands of an Elite General or found amongst a mound of helmets. And despite having presentation, I still only ever found 2 of them without a guide.
On the Repository mission, I climbed up a couple beams to see what was through those windows and I saw a General and a bunch of stealth elites run off to hide somewhere when I caught them, they never showed up later in the mission and I’m almost certain they are the ones by the skull, very cool.

I literally stumbled across the IWHBYD skull purely on accident. I was searching for a Spartan core in the area, and the marker pointed at the tower only. For F's sake, I was planning on getting the Mythic Skull on this Heroic playthrough I'm doing, but I must have forgotten to look up in the room that has the rotating pillars in the heat of the battle. The funny thing is, I remember seeing them my first play through and marveling at them. Worse yet, Restart Mission won't take you back to the start if you're near the end. It's bad enough you can't replay missions, but I was expecting to be able to fully restart them while still playing them, I mean it IS called "Restart Mission".
Managed to find four by myself and i’m super proud of myself because back in the Halo 2 and 3 days I needed a video for all of them. Watching this takes me back to that time haha
I'd love to see a video how 343i blinds us by majesty with the forerunner architecture, reminiscing us of the original trilogy's art style, taking somewhat obvious bits and pieces of Halo 1 2 3 and even 4's room designs
I was looking for secrets and on “the repository mission” I went up to that window and saw 4 elites standing in a circle turn around to look at me and then they all turned away turned invisible and what looked like they left the room. I was so confused and scared for my life.
I saw the same thing. I tried looking it up on RUclips to see is anyone mentioned it but not a single video talking about it. Only the white one came out later on. But the other ones didn't
A really, REALLY broken combo with the grapple hook, is the grapple hook + the bandana skull. The bandana skull also removes the ability cooldown, meaning endless grapple, and endless grapple is extremely useful for even more skull hunting.
Kudos 343. Really creative skull locations here. I’ve been playing the campaign for days now. Haven’t done a reset yet and I’m still finding cool new locations.
For those of you that WANT the catch skull early on, you don't NEED a wasp or a banshee to get it. There is a narrowing in the gap between the hex pillars that is narrow enough to get a running jump then grapple to the edge. Bit of a run to get there afterwards, but still do-able.
For the last skull, if you play it on Legendary the room with the sentinels you can grapple under the floors and swing your way to the far door without fighting.
In the rafters of the “advanced training room” in the second to last mission, there is a terminal that can be activated with. I don’t have a clue what it does, anyone know?
theres three of those terminal like things. One in that room prior to entering the advanced training ground at the back of it, one on top of the white tower and then one near the supporting beams on the roof. All it does is spawn a rocket hog in, no achievement or anything else.
Hey, there are hidden buttons in the boot camp level at the end of the game. Looks like an Easter egg of some kind. In the second room you will find 2 buttons. One on top of the tower in the middle of the room and another on some railings near the ceiling. I couldn't find any more but maybe you can figure it out?
Yeah I noticed that too, I think in total in all three rooms I hit 4 buttons, 1 in the first room (I can’t remember where exactly), 1 in the 2nd level control room just before you enter the arena, and the two that you previously mentioned. Would love to see what those are all about!
it’s called the button easter egg atm, there’s a button in the hologram room and two more in the actual arena. one on a rail near the ceiling and one on top of the sniper tower thing, pressing all three drops a rocket hog into the arena. i dont know of any other buttons though
@@r0hko I found a button on the ship at the first outpost you get to once you enter the open world. Outpost temonious I think. There was a red button next to two AA guns on the ship. I pressed it and nothing happened and it disappeared once I beat the game

They were all great my favorite is still the br75 variant as well as the mangler. Although had a ton a fun with both snipers as well. Easy tactic for taking down hunters use fully upgraded threat sensor with sniper and use cover when reloading
Hey Xperia I'm pretty sure I found an Easter egg that no one's talking about yet! If you go back to the cave at outpost tremonious (where you encounter an invisible sword elite for the first time) after beating the game, a halo infinite arcade game will be in the center next to a dead brute and milk jugs, the machine will be playing an 8-bit version of "Through the Trees" which sounds GREAT!!!
Was doing a legendary run while collecting the skulls and didn’t feel like restarting the whole story just for the last bandana skull. So I found that it’s easier to just grapple under the map toward the door and past the enemies to get to the skull, took a few tries tho
Finding the Mythic skull on my own was epic. I thought "wouldn't it be cool if you needed to grapple off the floating cylinders to get to a secret". It was a really cool surprise when that turned out to be the case.
So happy I actually found the grunt birthday party one on my own. I actually wanted to play the game first and then hunt for skulls, now I'm bummed out because I'm missing the one on the first and last missions :/ sucks that you can't simply replay them
I have something to say about the campaign Now I did like it it told a really nice story there could've been some better things to do bit overall a nice one But what I felt was lacking in this camp was the big fights with lots of enemies and vehicles I feel like this went for a more story driven experience and less big action take the mission covenant from halo for example you're dropped with a spartan laser and marines destroying every vehicle in site or two scarabs dropping from the sky now I understand we were all alone but why not have some parts were it was us in a tank vs so many vehicles and banished The gameplay felt like I would shoot some banished in a hallway and put cortana 2.0 in a console and then talk for a cutscene then do the same I never used the wasp during the main story I just feel like there could've been more action and less talking Still a good camp definitely a step in the right direction Hoping for a flood dlc or something
2:30 this skull can be accessed with just the grapple. There's a spot in the canyon that allows you to grapple from island to island without the need of a whasp
Thanks a lot! Had a hard time getting them all on my first play through and my legendary play through. I’m going to do a normal play through with all the explosion skulls and IWHBYD skull and find the rest.
I tried the Bandana in Heroic, it was hard AF... all sentinels got berserker on me like a man collecting debts... hahahhaa! Thanks man for the video.. halped me find most of the skulls...
There's a faster way to get the "FOG" skull. When you first come up on the Haxagonal spires, before Grappling, look up. You will be able to spot a choke point in the spires where you can grapple. This is also where you drop down after coming from the other side, that you demonstrated in this video. Its very easy to do it from the bottom. Just look up.
This was a fun thing to do in my second playthrough. Thank you and the others for this guide! I hope in the future we can bash the skulls over enemies heads like the original trilogy
for the skull guarded by hunters, in the second mission there is an invisible gun on the turret outside that is farther out(next to a red button thing) and facing the dircetion of the turret the left one will have the invisible gun. if you drop it it dissapears, but It'll oneshot any non-boss, including those pesky hunters
Some of these you don't just happen upon. Some of you got walkthrough books or something. Like the tower and a few of the outside ones. Yeah 100 percent could be fooling around with the grapple and find. Some of these you specifically had to have had foreknowledge.
Also for the fog skull you can just fly there in a wasp if you have it or a banshee or even grapple straight up, you can see the opening above where you enter in the video
Found Grunt Birthday Party on my very first playthrough. I really didn't know what that power seed unlocked, figured I'd miss something and just went on with the mission. Stumbled on that room with the skull a bit later by accident! :p
I stumbled on thunderstorm completely by chance. I wanted to snipe enemies off the beam tower before heading in so I decided to jump down onto that pillar for a better shot, to my surprise I landed on a skull

it’s called the button easter egg atm, there’s a button in the hologram room and two more in the actual arena. one on a rail near the ceiling and one on top of the sniper tower thing, pressing all three drops a rocket hog into the arena. i dont know of any other buttons though
@@r0hko I found a button on the ship at the first outpost you get to once you enter the open world. Outpost temonious I think. There was a red button next to two AA guns on the ship. I pressed it and nothing happened and it disappeared once I beat the game
@@xBubba32x yeah, i believe there’s three buttons in outpost tremonious that, if you press all of them, will kill all banished on the platform next to the infinity with an airstrike. kinda dumb though because the odds of you finding and pressing all 3 buttons first playthrough is super low :(
@@r0hko Ahhh cool thanks for letting me know. I was trying to figure out what it was and thought it could be a skull location but nope
The relief i felt at "only one room contains sentinals" is unbelievable.
You can actually grapple your way across to the Catch skull. No need to fly. You need the upgraded grapple with the faster cool
down though.
Thanks for the help! Got all me skulls thanks to this, now I can play with grunt birthday party enabled!
I'm really upset no one is talking about how good the weapons overall part of the game is literally phenomenal.
my personal pet and what i ran through the entire heroic campaign with is the Mangler and it's variant
Storm rifle is amazing.
They were all great my favorite is still the br75 variant as well as the mangler. Although had a ton a fun with both snipers as well. Easy tactic for taking down hunters use fully upgraded threat sensor with sniper and use cover when reloading
Pistol sucks
yes tgey àeé
Let me just say dude you make it so easy and simple to watch this and follow along. Thanks for the vid
So I found that it’s easier to just grapple under the map toward the door and past the enemies to get to the skull, took a few tries tho
for the bandana skull, apparently once a sentinel dies, even when you restart the mission it stays locked
I killed all the sentinels, restarted the mission, didn’t kill any , I was able to grab the skull
It’s great seeing campaign things again from you
I’ve been working on a 100% legendary run for the past 10+ hours and ur telling me I need to restart 😐
Finding the Mythic skull on my own was epic. I thought "wouldn't it be cool if you needed to grapple off the floating cylinders to get to a secret". It was a really cool surprise when that turned out to be the case.
What do you think of heroic difficulty I think it’s perfect
Too easy
@@MrSaljstn I feel the same now. If I change it will I mess anything up
So happy I actually found the grunt birthday party one on my own. I actually wanted to play the game first and then hunt for skulls, now I'm bummed out because I'm missing the one on the first and last missions :/ sucks that you can't simply replay them
I have something to say about the campaign
Now I did like it it told a really nice story there could've been some better things to do bit overall a nice one
But what I felt was lacking in this camp was the big fights with lots of enemies and vehicles I feel like this went for a more story driven experience and less big action take the mission covenant from halo for example you're dropped with a spartan laser and marines destroying every vehicle in site or two scarabs dropping from the sky now I understand we were all alone but why not have some parts were it was us in a tank vs so many vehicles and banished
The gameplay felt like I would shoot some banished in a hallway and put cortana 2.0 in a console and then talk for a cutscene then do the same I never used the wasp during the main story I just feel like there could've been more action and less talking
Still a good camp definitely a step in the right direction
Hoping for a flood dlc or something
All I wanted was the flood for at least 1 mission, I am dissapointed
Great video, no nonsense straight to the point and each skull book marked, thank you man
2:30 this skull can be accessed with just the grapple. There's a spot in the canyon that allows you to grapple from island to island without the need of a whasp
The skulls and like 7 of the Spartans audio logs are the only things i couldn't find on my own thank you for the help
Thanks a lot! Had a hard time getting them all on my first play through and my legendary play through. I’m going to do a normal play through with all the explosion skulls and IWHBYD skull and find the rest.
Really short and straight to the point! exaclty what you want when grinding trough all those collectibles!
thank you =)
I am collecting all the skulls on my fourth playthrough this has helped
im glad that Craig is a Easter egg in infinite XD 343 you rock with the memes
I tried the Bandana in Heroic, it was hard AF... all sentinels got berserker on me like a man collecting debts... hahahhaa! Thanks man for the video.. halped me find most of the skulls...
Definitely saving this for my legendary playthrough
There's a faster way to get the "FOG" skull.
When you first come up on the Haxagonal spires, before Grappling, look up.
You will be able to spot a choke point in the spires where you can grapple. This is also where you drop down after coming from the other side, that you demonstrated in this video.
Its very easy to do it from the bottom. Just look up.
This was a fun thing to do in my second playthrough. Thank you and the others for this guide! I hope in the future we can bash the skulls over enemies heads like the original trilogy
Found 4/12 before beating the campaign (Thunderstorm, Blind, IWHBYD, Famine) and after swing the locations for all the others, I earned this viewing
I actually got IWHBYD and famine plus 90% of everything else before this. Thanks!
The king has returned for yet another peak with halo!
Amazing video, love that it says where the skull is in the corner so I can skip through easier
Finished the campaign on normal, gonna be a mad lad and attempt these skulls while on legendary
for the skull guarded by hunters, in the second mission there is an invisible gun on the turret outside that is farther out(next to a red button thing) and facing the dircetion of the turret the left one will have the invisible gun. if you drop it it dissapears, but It'll oneshot any non-boss, including those pesky hunters
*Laughs in wasp knowing it will be easy getting the skulls*
I love the opening. the elite with the two red energy swords is awesome.
Intro lookin clean
Some of these you don't just happen upon. Some of you got walkthrough books or something. Like the tower and a few of the outside ones. Yeah 100 percent could be fooling around with the grapple and find. Some of these you specifically had to have had foreknowledge.
I WAS WONDERING WHERE THE CRAIG EASTER EGG WAS! THANK YOU!
Thank you for helping me find them Xperia
I found 3 myself without guides, I'm proud :)
Also for the fog skull you can just fly there in a wasp if you have it or a banshee or even grapple straight up, you can see the opening above where you enter in the video
Pretty cool how they have those ghostly hunting sounds resonating out of them now
Campaign is sick keep killin it Xperia! Love the videos! 🤘💀
I found the Skull and Easter egg on top of The Tower by accident due to a waypoint glitch. Made my day.
The catch skull is going to be crazy. Enemies already spam grenades when you’re in a vehicle
Found Grunt Birthday Party on my very first playthrough. I really didn't know what that power seed unlocked, figured I'd miss something and just went on with the mission. Stumbled on that room with the skull a bit later by accident! :p
I had to literally boycott youube and all other forms of social media for days while i finished the campaign. So now i'll watch the things.
The way you did fog skull was super overkill, you can get to it with 2 grapples with no upgrades
For the catch skull that area is accessible by grappling. I found it prior to getting a wasp since I wanted to clear the area before moving on.
Wow, thanks for this. Got 8/12 on my own, no chance I was getting those mission locked ones!
Feels like I’m in middle school all over again all giddy to get home from work just to play games
This video was very helpful thank you.
Thank you for posting one with audio!!!
Boom, mythic, bandana, thunder, fog, ind, iwhbyd, famine, black eye, catch
I stumbled on thunderstorm completely by chance. I wanted to snipe enemies off the beam tower before heading in so I decided to jump down onto that pillar for a better shot, to my surprise I landed on a skull
"It's tricky, gonna need the grapple hook"
"Yes waiter, I'll have one Wasp please"
Honestly this video is amazing.. well made
