The equation is COA -cost of attendance minus SAI-student aid index equals need. If your SAI number is 1300, you will be eligible for significant need. You should also be eligible for Pell grants. Please remember, just because you have need doesn’t mean the school has to fill it. Good luck!

Correct, cost of attendance is for one year of college and student aid index is for one year of college.
