All of these is because people don't vote for the nation but for reservation, freebies, etc.

India's needs (specially defense budget) is increasing but not tax payers and 2-3% people of the whole population only pay taxes (those who pay are also showing reduced income and paying much less than the actual amount). So it will be better if they exempt only the small farmers (or even middle class farmers if required) and charge tax on rich big farmers who are practically businessmen. There is no option left for India. A country that aspires to be a superpower has badly failed to produce a decent fourth-generation fighter. China has left India far behind at least in terms of military aviation technology.
Lack of funds is the main issue DRDO and HAL are facing. Indian defense youtubers should take the initiative of setting up a fund from all the money they earn (making lame defense update videos) to help provide research funding to DRDO.
Buying aircraft from outside isn't an option. Here is my 2 cents: 1. Improve & increase our Air Defences - build up a better layer of Air Defences. This will make enemy missions very costly. 2. Work on our indigenous options even if it means 10 years of wait time. Remember air power can supplement but true battle is won by boots on the ground where we are always stronger than any of our neighbours. Jai Bharat!

At this point with how late AMCA will be already and given that we've barely just begun its R&D, it should be reinvisioned to incorporate as many sixth gen technologies as possible even if it takes a bit longer, while an interim order for the Su-57M with flat nozzle AL51s is made to cover the fifth gen need on shorter order. Forget the MRFA, useless to spend 20-30 billion on fourth gen now. Tejas variants are still needed to affordably fill numbers, future variants should incorporate as many LO features as they affordably can such as serrated edges which china is also doing on its fourth gen now.

Only possible response is to increase Tejas MK2's speed. We are way far behind in all tech maturity related to 5th gen fighters and out own 4th gens are getting stuck in limbo.
We have very few choices to acquire 5 th gen fighter and both of the options are highly costly with high maintenance. And our AMCA program will also take some time to materialize. So , our only option is to develop some counter measure system which can create a genuine threat to the PLA 5 th gen fighter and we can develop more fast with the help of private players who are working in the associated field and all are they working efficiently

All the plaaf bases near ladakh like kashgar,hotan,yarkhand,xhigaze etc were located at more than 3000m altitude and how the j20s and other fighters of the plaaf can takeoff with max weaponload and fuel...also due to take off and landing at such high altitudes maintenance of The aircraft will increase and it also drastically reduces the performance of the aircraft...all the IAF bases were located at low altitudes and our fighters can take off with max payload.And The most dumbest thing is to think that a stealth fighter is only a solution to counter another stealth fighter...here my doubt is why most of our people blaming our own armed forces?any way, we the responsible citizens of the nation must change our mindset!

Aur 5-7 saal China and Pak combined will have insane advantages over us, and we cant take that risk. F35 lene se agar technology transfer deal milti h toh it will be incredibly advantageous for us. Agar F35 nahi, toh we need compensate it with a fleet of more 4.5 gen jets like the rafele, until tejas mk 2 production m aajaye. And this is assuming ke tejas Mk2 aur AMCA ka plan time se aur bina compromise ke execute ho. anyways, i understand import is not ideal but what other choice do we have given our circumstances?

Lack of funds is the main issue DRDO and HAL are facing. Indian defense youtubers should take the initiative of setting up a fund from all the money they earn (making lame defense update videos) to help provide research funding to DRDO.

Buying aircraft from outside isn't an option. Here is my 2 cents:
1. Improve & increase our Air Defences - build up a better layer of Air Defences. This will make enemy missions very costly.
2. Work on our indigenous options even if it means 10 years of wait time.
Remember air power can supplement but true battle is won by boots on the ground where we are always stronger than any of our neighbours. Jai Bharat!

At this point with how late AMCA will be already and given that we've barely just begun its R&D, it should be reinvisioned to incorporate as many sixth gen technologies as possible even if it takes a bit longer, while an interim order for the Su-57M with flat nozzle AL51s is made to cover the fifth gen need on shorter order. Forget the MRFA, useless to spend 20-30 billion on fourth gen now. Tejas variants are still needed to affordably fill numbers, future variants should incorporate as many LO features as they affordably can such as serrated edges which china is also doing on its fourth gen now.

All the plaaf bases near ladakh like kashgar,hotan,yarkhand,xhigaze etc were located at more than 3000m altitude and how the j20s and other fighters of the plaaf can takeoff with max weaponload and fuel...also due to take off and landing at such high altitudes maintenance of The aircraft will increase and it also drastically reduces the performance of the aircraft...all the IAF bases were located at low altitudes and our fighters can take off with max payload.And The most dumbest thing is to think that a stealth fighter is only a solution to counter another stealth fighter...here my doubt is why most of our people blaming our own armed forces?any way, we the responsible citizens of the nation must change our mindset!

i think its fair to have a stop gap option. Jab Su 57 practical option nahi hai, due to time and capability challenges associated with it. That only leaves us with the option of F35. US convince karna mushkil h aur hum probably price bhi bohot zyada pay karenge, but, AMCA ke full 5th gen ban ke aane ke liye AMCA Mk 2 kaa wait karna hoga, jiski deliveries 2035 pehle shuru nahi hongi. Aur 5-7 saal China and Pak combined will have insane advantages over us, and we cant take that risk. F35 lene se agar technology transfer deal milti h toh it will be incredibly advantageous for us. Agar F35 nahi, toh we need compensate it with a fleet of more 4.5 gen jets like the rafele, until tejas mk 2 production m aajaye. And this is assuming ke tejas Mk2 aur AMCA ka plan time se aur bina compromise ke execute ho. anyways, i understand import is not ideal but what other choice do we have given our circumstances?
