Those stepover goals he scored against Schalke and Galatasaray in 2014 is the best use of the skill that I've ever seen.
And he scored them with his left foot which is amazing considering that he is a right footed player. 🐐

Nothing beats the stepover destruction of Joel Matip during the match against Schalke while wearing the sick orange kit. In the second leg he also deceived Matip again with the timing of his shot while dribbling at full speed, and when they played again the next season, Ronaldo amazingly shook off Matip while he was marking him during a cornerkick to score a fantastic header. I bet Matip has some wild stories to tell about Cristiano and how threatening he was all around.
I believe he also scored against Barca or Valencia after mini stepover vs a defender and then blasted to near post with left foot.

This are efficient. People that never have played don't understand that the point of stepovers is not always dribble, most of the time a player uses them to make time, waiting for his teammates, or to move forward some meters and get in a better position. As when you do the step over and the defender tries a tackle most of the time is a free kick, most defenders wait, and that is why they are so useful if you know how to use them, as Ronaldo proves it multiple times.
Also, you can use stepovers and wait for a defensive mistake, as in some cases in this video where Ronaldo makes stepovers, and as the defender misses the tackle Ronaldo goes for the other side.
I ask Ronaldo fans. During Ronaldo's entire career he played LW,RW,CF,ST positions. How many times/which position do you play more? Or count only during his time at Real Madrid, please tell me this information. Pls 🙏

Well, not exactly that goal, but Ronaldo can score goals while dribbling.
A little unfair "he can't score ko stages wc" as Messi literally 9 months ago was the same. Scoring in ko wc stages depends more on the team, and Circumstances more than the level of a player. Imagine if Messi retired from Argentine when he said in 2018 I think, well, that would mean that Ramos, o Neuer have more goals contribution in ko wc stages... That means they would be better than Messi? No.

At least Messi had meaningful contributions in the WC knockout stage and had 3 assists before the WC (2 assists vs France 2018 and 1 assist in 2014). And scoring in WC knockout stage doesn't depend on ur team, unless you mean to get to the WC knockout stage.
