What a run by Regis especially
My beautiful Yugoslavia
Love to you from London, UK. X
Jonn regis was probably our best overall sprinter back then. 100, 200 and 400
You'd better say...african sprinter... How can you be so silly?
@@derio63 He comes from south-east London!
@@derio63 as silly as you it seems saying he’s from Africa lol
@@derio63 He was born in Lewisham. To British parents.
@@trickygoose2 African who was born in south east London... please wake up....
A fabulous team Great Britain had. Remember 1991 as well
1991 was the greatest relay race of my lifetime!!!
Half Great Britain, half Afrika.... that's the truth... anyway better than today: nearly all british athlets are africans....
@@derio63 What planet are you on?
@@seanconnerton2017 A planet where african people stay in Africa...
Yugoslavia !!!❤😊
Lovely Yugoslavia ❤️
Still sends shivers down my spine. Brillian GB! XX
Acabusi doing a 45 on the second leg from the outside
John Regis was build like a Toyota landcruiser. Strong and reliable.
the great kriss akabusi [ shy retiring [ not[won this [ what a guy
I'd like to watch the whole athletics programme, if somebody could upload it and post the link.
Brilliant
Hello, do you have the NBC version of the men's 200m semifinals at the London Olympics
СССР самый сильный в мире!По-любасу!Во всех сферах жизнедеятельности!
John Regis 43.9!,,
Regis was a stud!! I always thought he was just a "4th runner" trying to hold his own. 43.9 is good enough to be a star on any relay team. Incredible! Especially for someone who looks like he plays middle linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys.
I always thought that Regis could have done something really special if he had moved up to 400m in the individual event.
being british is wonderful [ we always win
If we’d had a (better) quality runner on the first leg, the team could have got around 2:56.5
When the commentators would talk bad about regis "not being a 400m runner, called a comparative novice, inexperienced etc" and regis was a tank stepped up and would run mid 43- low 44's. Really makes the commentators look like real assholes.
Кто же это у нас так облажался на 3-м этапе?
"The West Germans not out of the picture yet either"... Was the commentator watching the same race as I was? By the last 100 metres, the West Germans were most certainly out of the picture, metaphorically speaking, and almost literally in the TV picture.
He made a mistake
All the guys were good but John Regis was a class apart.
Jim Rosenthal and Steve Ovett commentating.
yes with alan parry, with itv and the bbc both sharing the coverage back then.
That is correct and also Peter Matthews, still commentating as of 2017.
Not Jim Rosenthal, Nicky it was Alan Parry wuth Steve Ovett. With Peter Matthews the brilliant analyst.
Akubusi won it
Why back them the UK white guys always run in a different outfit than the black guys
cocaine
