Hello Sir,
I have issue with the karcher k2 compact.I tear open the motor and found that the gear wheel was broken.I have managed to change them and refilled the oil.And reassembled everything back the machine has worked for 10 mins and again stopped working.I mean machine is running but no water coming out of the gun.Please suggest what can be done.
@@sivasai2519 it's nothing but the water is not getting into the pump. check your machine's filter.

I’m from trissur.
I used this pump to replace the pump on a Ecell 3100 PSI pump. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxEU8wdEWW31diRsOawsCNfWEho39M27qd The model # is PWZ0163100.02 for those looking for a matching pump. It went on very easily - 10 minutes at most. Feels like a lot more power than the original but that's to be expected. Can't tell a difference when cleaning with the wand or floor sprayer. Would recommend as it was cheaper than most I found. The maintenance free aspect is definitely a plus too. Have used it through about 6 tanks of gas and have zero issues so far.

Kärcher does not say some times change of oil needed. So everyone buys a new one once the oil leaks or motor does brake because lack of oil.
I have a Karcher K2 which started leaking oil. On the high pressure (water) side of the cylinder head, one of cylinders is damaged but the oil seals still look good. I was unable to remove the top of the cylinder head to check the other seals as shown in the video. Presumably there must be some slight variation among the parts used for the K2.
Any idea what gear oil they use in this . The type of oil and the quantity as I need to top mine up after a repair. It looks synthetic

I guess you had the same problem as me. Vibrating through the gun caused by that broken bracket. Mine broke in the same place.
Hey thanks for helpful video 👍 I seem to have an issue inside my spray gun on the K2 but getting into it looks problematic as it appears to have plastic rivets. Not sure if yours is the same but any videos or tips on how to dismantle would be greatly appreciated. Can't find any info on it.

Just pull with little shake. Nothing else. No screwdriver or Nothing needed.

My one doesn't build any pressure, repalced the entire head with a brand new one cost a lot and a brand new control switch. Still the same, never been so confused about something so simple
Sometimes the filter may block and pressure issue exists.
@@AutoTribe managed to find out what was wrong. The metal gear on the motor has separated from the shaft. If you turn it by hand it all spins but under any physical pressure it doesn't spin just the shaft on the motor spins. If you ever have similar issues its worth looking at, Im going to put a bead of weld on the tip over the gear and shaft tip to hold the gear solid onto the shaft

Yes there is oil and the washers are available S15-B26 or KAR63653 the description should read Oil Sealing 12x20x46

Yes. There is Oil inside the pump assembly. 4oz / 120 ml for Karcher K2.
Piston washers are available. Google with your machine model for finding local vendors.
Which oil should I use? And how to apply it to my Karcher 5.20 V.?

Hi. Thanks. The outlet hose should sustain high pressure. And the diameter of normal garden hose is larger. It will affect the output efficiency of the pressure washer. But on the safety side, don't use normal garden hose.

Change the o rings / gasket
Where is situated the pressure switch of the k2.15 karcher
The pressure switch is within the white plastic assembly where the 'T' on/off lever pokes out.
You can release it from the unit by forcing apart the two top holes and pulling it away.

Hi. Thankq. 120ml. 15w 40 grade motor oil or engine oil will do the job. Change it periodically.

Actually Karcher doesn't sell parts outside. You can search online to see if there is any 3rd party selling in your locality.

@@AutoTribe in mine plastic gears broke to part, need replace, and when its opened i not find just some drops oil, propably its run dry gears wasnt lubricated
@@zcsaba77 the oil must be changed periodically. In case of this machine every certain working hours or 6 months.

This is the messiest disassembly I’ve seen. Oil pouring out all over the place. Better to do it upright and then pour the oil into a container before taking it apart fully. Also wear gloves as that oil is seriously not good for your skin.
