Great tips for beginners. I prefer to use bullet weights, sometimes with a weight stopper if I'm punching grass. But honestly, you produce bigger fish if you get out of the "Senko" mentality. For years I also strongly believed in the soft plastics. But if you research and learn Swim jigs, Crankbaits, Jerkbaits, Rattle traps and swim baits you will produce those giants everyone hopes for. "6th Sense" make some great lures. The price is a lil higher, but you get what you pay for. Don't get me wrong, I still believe in the Ole Texas rig if I'm trying to catch dinner. But if I want a big girl you gotta go with bigger lures. In my personal opinion, 20-50 pound braid line is king. Learn it and love it 😂. Tight lines, bro 🤙🎣
I agree completely. i have a ton of those baits and i used to use them a a lot but when i put this channel together it was really for kids and beginners to get into fishing and i wanted it to be really easy. thats why i started the channel with a zebco. but trust me each time i go to the hillcountry i take 50lb braid and i actually did a video using a six inch swimbait last year. ruclips.net/video/Mo8bEp4v8Es/видео.htmlsi=sfi6Mcc44HPpVPaO but your right i should change it up for other viewers.
@drewbass3341 no doubt, you offer a ton of great advice for the kids. Your content will be great helping my son learn some of the basics when we aren't on the water
What Walmart location is that one ? They seem to have some different lures n brands they don’t have in the south side Walmart. Those 6th sense look good
