Give Till It's Gone is probably Harper's weakest album (that's not saying that it's bad, I don't think someone as talented as he is could make a bad album) but this song easily one of his best songs.
This song is criminally underrated, it is exceedingly rare for music with lyrical content to actually say something that is not directly hypnotic in a demoralizing, toxic nature. Never forget that most people are being conditioned 24/7 by ego tripping psychotic media in all forms and they're completely clueless as to why they feel like shit and have no meaning in their life.
