@@melbasfarm7500 The entire farm looks so relaxing! So the swing set will be great to just chill in! I am sure with all the work, it may not seem relaxing, but I know you will find the time to enjoy all of your hard work. It all look so awesome!!!!
Hi! How are your ducks doing now? I'm getting ready to do the same thing and relocate our ducks to the pond, but worried about predators. Wondering if yours have all made it!
Sadly, they did not. We lost them to racoons one at a time. So, not due to having free access to the pond, but because they refused to use the floating duck house and stayed up in the pasture all night. So, we have more ducklings that are a week and a half old now. When they come out of the brooder, we have a pen and house for them and we'll train them to go to bed every night and allow free access to the pond during the day.
Too cool! They will get used to it. Like you mentioned, this is the first time they see a ponder... Very nice!
Thank you! We got a swing and set it out by the pond the other day too. Can't wait to sit out there and enjoy the little quackers on the water.
