One of the top jazz vocal groups (with The Real Group, L. A. Group, Manhattan Transfer...). They can swing, sing whatever they wish and always choose the best sidemen...
@@TheRudydog1 because I was talking to you, sweetie, and showing my disdain for your over sharing of your guffaw-worthy and childish antics. That's why I directed the comment to you, babycakes, see how that works?
Busy looking for new songs of this era for my Jazz Band. This is the best arrangement of all I`ve heard. Love the harmonies and clever phrasing. Great stuff New York Voices and thanks for posting this Matsuda.
The best vocal jazz group I've heard of this song. I must listen to it everyday and feel so good. Love the swing. And of course my favourite pianist Beegie Adair (Trio) renders a fantastic jazz version. Superb!!
#BigBand #JazzVocals
I really enjoy listening to this group. I wonder if the group still exists? Whatever...they still have interpretations of songs I can listen to. Brsvo!
Sang this with my high school jazz choir 10 years ago. This has to be the classiest music I've heard
My absolute favorite New York Voices recording.
how come I never find it on Amazon

The unison parts are impossibly perfect. Exemplary top to bottom!

Darmon Meader of NY voices came to play this song with my jazz band in the winter :) he was such an inspiration just by the way he loves working.

this is very good...it's hard to pull me away from Dinah Washington's version, which is the song's highest point of success in my mind. Thank you.
