Thank you so much for this - you make it seem so simple. I've been struggling to learn to do this properly until I watched your video. This has been a great help, dude. I can't wait to watch more of your videos & hopefully learn some new tricks.
Markus, thank you very much for your videos. Could you turn on auto-generated subtitles for your videos? It'll significantly simplify watching for not-fluent English speakers like me. Thank you in advance!
Hey Markus! Thank you for this detailed tutorial it was very helpful for me. Many people recommend to shift some weight (or even more) to front leg and after that push the tail. Do you think this weight shifting is unnecessary?
You can create a bit more power a and little wake by pushing the frontfoot into the water first... But the backfoot is very important and the mainpart for the Ollie as mentioned in the video :) But of course you can try different ways to improve your Ollie... You´ll see which you feel more comfortable with :)
Hey Markus, what about edging? How much should you edge before you go for an ollie? I imagine that you must create some line tension before you send it.
Hey Andrew, for doing a nice and clean Ollie you don´t have to edge a lot... It´s all about the right technique! Of course, when you wanna do a massive Ollie or you want to Ollie on an obstacle, than you can edge a bit more for using the speed and the tension, but edging, speed and tension on the rope are not the main-keys for a clean Ollie! :-)
