Custom diffuser - Audi S7

There’s not alot of aftermarket parts available for this Audi generation, especially for the A7/S7. Our customer asked to have something more aggressive that match with the style of the splitters he already had from us. We first had to remove the trim in the middle and shave the whole center of the peice. After that we added fins and molded them to the oem diffuser. Many hours of sanding later, it’s time to paint and see the result.

Interested to know what Plastic was used? To my eye it looks like 8mm Acrylic.

By the form of the residue when its cut i think it's Abs, but the 2 sides of it are plain, so i'm not sure 🤔

It is 3/8" thick HDPE 😉

What did you use to get the exact shape and curve for the fines. Im trying to do the same thing here but everything is slightly off

You can buy the tool called Contour Gauge, it will help but you may have to finish the work with a sander or a file.
