My dad got layed off more then a year ago, and he wasn't able to find a job. (He is older so people were less wanting to hire him). So he decided to build my parents dream house. While he can't do everything he's been doing a lot on it. They've been working on it for a year now, and their finally at the spot where they can start really picking out the design elements. It was super interesting hearing what you did for your house! I'm going to pass some of your ideas onto him. Thanks!

Girl, I know great builders exist, but a lot of the ones I've seen in my experience have asked for food breaks every 10 minutes, watered down wall paint so that its harder to paint with and didn't even bother to screw a sink together properly which resulted in leaking; these were all different people btw :)

I’ve just moved into a new build and had free reign designing and dressing the house etc and I’ve loved every minute of it! We’re nearly done just few things left to get done . Your house is lovely you can see the thought and effort you’ve put into it there’s nothing better than customising your home to your own taste x

I’m a kid who loves interior design 💗 Quick tip- you could really use a big floor rug to go in your living room even though I know you have carpet it really makes it look less blank and fills the space more without making it look cluttered. I suggest some sort of minimal black and white triangle pattern 💖 hope you see this x
