  • Refurbishing a Jet Ski trailer to resell.
    I did not show everything like the wire wheeling and painting cause that's all repetitive.

    Just for future reference, the safety chain should go through the inside and not the outside. The bolt has a high probability of snapping. Good job

      Yeah, I've started doing it that way nowadays. Learning experience never the less.

      @The N4th Most of it can be found online or if you happen to have a trailer store for parts locally. I use this website for most of my parts www.boattrailerparts.com/ Almost all of it is universal parts, bearings and hubs, the axle hardware, springs, and bunk brackets. Depending on what kind of axle you have and how much weight your ski is will determine what type of hardware and tires you'll need to use. The jacks, wench, and safety chains can be found at Walmart for a good price. On the bunks, if you redo those make sure you use stainless stapes and pressure-treated wood or it won't last. As well as on the hubs make sure you get the correct bearing sizes. The store you buy them from should be able to explain how to install them just make sure you put the lock back on the bolt so your hub doesn't fall off going down the road.

      (2x width x27 length) (31 overall) is this the one I need it say it’s a (3 leaf) and says max 1000kg/axel but there is another one with the same pics and it says leaf 2 with the exact description but says max 750kg/axle
      Edit: it has a pic on the website the top one has 3 but the bottom has 4 Or you could tell me which one is yours should of asked u that is the first place 😂 but oh well 😂

      I am in the process of making a similar vid of a double trailer but I just haven't had time to edit it with work going on recently.

    Galvanized or steel against treated wood creates an acid and eats like hell through everything quick

    nice video man, my thought is: you bought so much stuff for it plus the labor. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy a decent used trailer off the market?

      @Y_N_K_888 Год назад +1

      Not when u can source them for free. I have one I got one for free from a family member and it's my kayak trailer now. Then a few years ago someone dumped an old one on my parents property.

      @Bustin Feelsgood even if you get it for free, the time alone is gonna make it more expensive than it is worth. Unless your time is also free (when you are a kid for example).
