aaa i don't have time to watch the video all the way through rn so idk if this is said at all in the second half of the vid, but i wanted to throw this out there for anyone watching this vid for help on making a fursona!! your fursona can look however you want (as this video has already said a buncha times). changing your fursona's design later on, or even very frequently, doesn't mean anything bad!! i say this because when i was younger a lot of furries around my age were upset that they wanted to redesign their fursona but they felt like they _couldn't!_ at the time these people were roughly 12-14 years old, and you change a lot as a person as you age into and out of your teens (i mean, you change in general over any span of years, but you get what i mean)! there may be a point where your fursona doesn't feel like they represent you anymore, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with changing them to align with how _you've_ changed, too! or maybe you just want to change up how they look for no reason other than because you want to, nothing wrong with that either! some people also "sideline" the fursona to instead make a brand new one and keep the older one "intact" or whatever. i kinda do that myself, but i still redesign my older fursonas every few years despite them not being my active fursonas anymore! i don't have the "aging out" problem anymore because i'm an adult, but there was a point with my very first fursona where he changed a little bit literally *every* single time i would draw him. he looks VERY different today than he did when i first made him, and i'm very proud of how far he's come! he has at least 20 iterations i can think of off the top of my head, but he's still clearly the same character he was in 2016 when i made him! _tldr: don't be afraid to change how your fursona looks later on, they're YOUR character after all! >:)_
This exactly! I just recently changed my fursona, and even though I'm always hesistant to do so, I'm much happier than when I just try to stick with a fursona I don't connect to anymore! I actually want to do a video about how it's okay to change your fursona!
I absolutely love this video! Your voice is also super comforting and gentle. I've been wanting to make a new fursona since I've entered a new phase in my life- more confident- and it's been years since I made a new character. You covering all the basics helped refresh me on what to do and how to spark creativity in my ideas. Your OC is super pleasant! Thanks for the video! :)
Thank you so much for this comment!! I'm so glad, I really wanted to inspire more people to make fursona's with this video! It's heartfelt comments like these that inspire me to get back to posting regularly!!
Thank you so much for this video! I want to make a fur suit head, but didn’t know where to start. This helped me understand more about how to make a fursona and what a fursona is! Thank you so much!
