This is the best tutorial, especially for the joining the two ends, I have ever seen! So clear and understandable! Thank you for sharing this with us. I now feel confident about the entire crocheted bead bracelet process!
Beautiful work, you have great patience. You give a great tutorial, very calm and informative plus easy to understand and follow which is more important.Thank up. I was getting bored 🥱 but now I have something new to tey and explore.
Thank you for showing this! On the one hand it looks very easy, and I usually (or used to) pick up this stuff quickly enough. Right now, though, I am completely stymied. I see what you're doing, but my hands no longer want to play. I'm sticking with you, though. We're going to do this or die in the effort. My first few attempts were with dark green beads and dark green thread. Who did I think I was? I switched to colors of spectrum and white thread. Made a difference, but still taking my knocks. Each time I get a little further before I have to start again. Good thing I'm retired.
Oh my goodness, I have tried to do this for YEARS! Tried so many tutorials and nobody has been as clear as your excellent tutorial. I even moved to Kumihimo to make this effect because I couldn't figure out the join and start next row. You've made it so easy - I can't wait to start my next project. Thank you!!!
You are an excellent teacher. I would have used a slightly darker beige or gold thread and pulled the thread tighter. Crochet ropes are one of my favorite beading projects. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Thank you so much for making and sharing this! I have some very cherished rolled bead necklaces my grandmother made over 50 years ago and I've always wondered how she did it. This will give me the opportunity to make some bracelets for family that will hopefully become cherished heirlooms as well.
Love your video. It’s straight to the point!!!! Have watched others and they seem to take 10 mins just to explain what they are going to do!!!! Will be looking to your other videos. Thank you
Bravo! I just stumbled across this type of bracelet for sale and I'm a DIY chick so when I came across this tutorial, I felt confident that I could do it! I've never crocheted before but this seems easy enough even for newbies like me!
Thank you for the wonderfully clear video/instructions! I have made three bracelets. The first I accidentally used 6.0 beads which still turned out great and obviously a tad chunkier. I absolutely needed a magnifying glass for the next two which were the 8.0 beads. I added 1/2 inch to my wrist measurement which was perfect as the bracelets roll nicely on and off.
I have never done a crochet bead bracelet or necklace. I use to do a lot of Native American seed bead jewelry many years ago including the Peyote stitch. I had given all my seed beads away to family children. I would love to try this craft and Your video was so easy to follow and learn from. Thank you.
Hi Lynn! Thank you for sharing your story and your feedback. We are working towards creating all tutorials that are easy to follow regardless of the style of beading. We hope you get back into beading soon!
Just found your tutorial. My grandmother did this back in the day. Beautiful. I am going to try this soon. Thank you for the easy to follow instructions.
I have been watching tutorials and even started trying to bead crochet. I got very frustrated because I wasn’t seeing where to put the thread exactly after you push the bead down and being down the next bead. Now after your video I feel like I finally have the hang of it. Thank you so much!
Of all of the video tutorials regarding the rope bracelet this is by far the BEST and EASIEST to follow. Not sure who the instructor is but she is AWESOME!!
Beautifully done! Thank you so much! You are an excellent teacher. I enjoy crochet and am currently doing bead work. Never thought you could combine the two. Very exciting.
I really love the colors. Just the other day my sister asked me if I could make her a crochet beaded bracelet. Now, with your instructions I think I can do it. Only she wants a specific pattern that I'm not sure of, but I'll try. Thank you for sharing a very well done video.
Excellent tutorial - one of the clearest and easiest to follow that I've seen! I'm a lefty and have had a really hard time learning this technique, but maybe I can watch it in a mirror? :)
Oh my gosh thank you SO much for explaining where the bead needs to sit after the first layer. I was trying to do the sunset bracelet pattern from another fusion bead tutorial and probably looped and unlooped the same damn 20 beads a hundred times because it wasn't quite looking right and your tips finally got me there.
You could just try it and see if it works for you. I tend to do projects far too massive or detailed for me, but that’s how I learn. And I do complete most of them. If it turns out to be too complicated yet, then simply unravel it and pack it up for another time. =)
Thank you so much for your tutorial, finally I understood what was my mistake making this croshet bracelet .After watching several videos your tutorial helped me.Happy beading🌸☀️
What a great tutorial, thank you so much... This was the best video that I've seen that explains the technique. You made it appear so easy, I can't wait to try it!
Love this! Just finished my first bracelet took me a few hours a couple days for like 6 hours all together to get it done. Super excited but I can make these now because they charge like 20 bucks for them online and now I can make my own designs and colors and stuff
Hi can you explain why you do the loop over and do a stitch with no beads at the ending end other videos come up through the last bead before the join. Is there a reason why you do it this way? Thank you for your reply Patricia
I love you!!!!!!! I have been trying to master this for sooooooo long. I gave up but just came across your tutorial and had another go! I can do it :) thank you for a wonderful tutorial xxxxx

I have spent ALOT of money on these bracelets knowing good and well that I could crochet since I was 8! My grandmother taught me, also. Well, not any more. These are very clear instruction. For goodness sakes! I learned to knit on 00 needles so I could make a bracelet. We are so funny sometimes. I laugh at myself once I see how simple a thing can be that I thought must be super complicated. 😆
Hello, Great video!! Thank you first of all. This is my first attempt at making a necklace for a friend that can't use their hands very well anymore. I' m working with what I think a 10/0 or 11/0 seed bead, i think its more of a 11/0. I got everything strung all ready, and I think I got the technique down, I' m still trying to get my hands coordinated. Lol. Anyway my friend recently gave me some flexible, clear plastic tubing and she said it goes into the hole of the necklace. Of course know I' m totally confused; doesn't take much, to confuse me, Lol. Which brings me to a few questions and I' m HOPING AND PRAYING you will HELP ME!! I would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 1. Is there a difference between just crocheting the beads together to rope , spiral or tubular bead crochet? 2. Do you have any videos explaining this? 3.Do you know what I'm talking about the plastic flexible tubing? I've seen some videos where they are crocheting around some kind of round tubing 4. Also, I was wondering on your video above. The beads i strung are from a pattern, suppose to be a snake pattern, so the beads closest to the hook is actually the end of the pattern and I'm working backwards, I know your pattern is continuous of 6 beads and you go over and over, but are you actually working also from the end to the front? Thanks in advance for your time and if you consider to Help Me , there would be no words of gratitude, you would Help me out tremendously.

Do the beads have to be in multiples of 6's or could you do 7 or whatever amount you'd like? ♡
I don’t see why you couldn’t. But less than six beads would be extremely cramped. And if you do several beads more, the tube would benefit from some sort of filler, or it would be squished flat quite easily.
Just finished my first one. Love it! Do you know how many beads would be needed if using number 11 beads?
Hi Peggy, it will vary. Here is a great formula when using different sizes for bead crochet.
The formula is a rough estimate of about how many you may need, as the beads are not always equal. Like in the case of size 11/0 it may be 54 - 60 beads approximately to equal 1” of 6 around.
A rule of thumb is:
desired rope length X number-around = inches of beads to string
i.e. 7" bracelet X 6-around = string 42" of beads
To figure the amount of beads needed:
desired rope length X number-around = inches of beads to string
then
Inches of strung beads X number of beads per inch = number of beads needed
then
Number of beads needed ÷ beads per gram = grams of beads needed
For example:
In 11/0 seed beads a 9" rope X inches to string (6") = string 54" of beads
54" of strung beads X 18 beads per inch = 972 beads
972 beads÷ 110 beads per gram = 8.8 grams of beads
Hope this helps!
