Another recipe mentions 3/4 cup of jaggery for 1 cup of wheat flour and addition of a teaspoon of sugar. Can 1/2 teaspoon sukku be also added? Harih 🕉.

Banana gives softness to the appam. you can add baking soda 1 more pinch and exclude banana
