Lacey is my favourite actress in eastenders of all time and i am 43, her storylines are excellent
Yes, I also remember seeing her in Call The Midwife as Stella Crandall A Convict who was trying to make a better life for herself and her Son Peter.
Lacey is one of the few great actresses left on EastEnders
having bipolar myself and suffering the same symptoms watching this made me feel better about my illness and not alone and in a wierd way helped me understand it more....its amazing xx

I like her many acting facial expressions. Happy, shocked, emotional, angry and sad.
When shes sad, she unmistakenly buttons her bottom lip down. Lacey has a sexy giggle.
Many eastenders viewers forget just what a little devious madam stacey slater was when she first appeared in the soap in 2002.
James bye does seem like a nice chap, which even comes across when he plays his character martin fowler.

I will give the UK Soaps their Props, they really know how to cut to the heart and soul of an issue. Mark Fowler having HIV, Stacey's Bipolarism, Little Mo being abused by Trevor, and most recently The Suicide of Aidan Connor on Coronation Street. Now they have a UK Soap Writer on The Young & The Restless where Jack Abbott finds out that John Abbott isn't his "Real" Father.
