I will say, as an HX User, I love that there are dials instead of the linear slider because that clicks more for me. This looks like a pretty reasonable start for the QC moving forward!
I think both are hit or miss. Some amp models I prefer on the QC, some on the Line 6. Haven't had enough time with QC effects yet. I'm planning on doing direct comparisons so lmk if there are any you want to see :D

Ah yeah that makes sense. I had it hooked up in mono so I couldn't hear the diff.
