Local writer, reporter and author Bernardine Watson shares this powerful story and offers insight into her journey with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), a rare, incurable, kidney disease that primarily affects African Americans.
She is joined in conversation with Natasha Dupee, Executive Director of the Mayor's Office of Women's Policy and Initiatives. This program is supported by the DC Public Library Foundation.
