What stood out the most for me is Dr. Nene’s compassion. He’s genuinely kind and humble and made best efforts to explain the complexities of the functioning of a heart and the related aspects. Excellent podcast, Ranveer, please bring him back again!
This is a brilliant episode. As an educator myself, I appreciate Dr. Nene’s ability to communicate complex, technical terms and processes clearly, passionately. His empathy comes across to the audience in this interview. Well done!!
I have to say that Dr. Nene is a really good educator and does a fabulous job of breaking down complex processes. I could listen to him explain about heart health for another hour easily.
Loved this episode! Thank you Ranveer for inviting Dr. Sriram Nene. As a cardiac physiotherapist I know his contribution to cardiovascular healthcare. A very humble genius. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Ranveer is unleashing his personality pertaining to heart health and all the insightful questions he has asked is truly commendable. Kudos to Dr.Nene, I used to know him as Madhuri Dixit’s husband but now I know him as Dr. Nene - Heart Doctor 😊
Hopefully after watching this interview, no one will take cheap shots on this good doctor. Not even on a comedy show etc... the guy is extremely knowledgeable and articulated various facets of the body Organs Nerves Tissues included and more importantly the way he explained about Cholesterol and endothelium function and related dependencies so well! This is one of the BEST Shows that I have enjoyed so far on the Ranveer's show! Madhuri Dixit is very lucky and not the other way around! Kudos Doc for explaining so well!

Please do podcast on STOCK MARKET without any promotions ( because it compromises on information) I was waiting for this from the start of your podcast series
At night, when you sleep for 7 hours your body does digestion, assimilation and storage into excretion sacs. So, everything works normally. But, let's when you don't sleep for 3 days continously, you will have indigestion, chest burn, diffcuilt in breathing because your stomach won't compress. It doesn't compress because of excessive CO2 which is formed in the blood. Our body has receptors for CO2 unlike O2, by this i mean to say, your Pons virullei gets suppressed when the CO2 levels in the blood gets increased and you do yawning continously and feel sleepy. This condition is known as Acidosis. So, when there is acidosis, same blood will go into heart and if CO2 molecules won't get clearance within milliseconds or if gets stuck between a small vessel of very smaller diameter then the chances are high that vessel would die. Similarly happens for brain.
Wonderful podcast, hugely appreciated. I am a Physiologist and it was a reinforcement of what good health practices should be. Would love to hear more from Dr Nene on good Nutrition and his opinion about intermittent fasting.

Please do ask Dr Nene about that stabbing pain in your chest as if a pin is being pressed against your left chest...and also that pain start out of nowhere and it also accentuates when you try to breathe
Complete blockage occurs in ST elevation MI , there is transmural infarction and zero blood supply to the myocardium , as he told that platelet comes on the plaque and build up into thrombus and that will completely block the blood supply to the myocardial cells
Etiology of plaque accumulation is cholesterol only. And cholesterol will come from food. But, what you're trying to ask is, is it only responsible for decrease in circulation? No, if we say its hereditary then genetic disorders could be of many kinds- high bp, diabetes two most common. There are conditions like fibrosis. Our body is made up of 12 types of collagen fibres like fibrin, elastin, reticulin and many more. Fibrin is present in abundance in bone. That's why it is so tough. Fibrin is also present in cartilages but less than bone That's why they are flexible. These fibres are present in blood stream also..because fibrin clot, platelet plugs helps in healing injury. So, if there is any pathology related to these collagen fibres..this can also cause brittle vessels..means they become inflexible. This is stenosis basically.
Heart impulses are regulated by SA node (Sino-atrial node)also called as pacemaker, Ventricular node( largest node) Purkinge fibres. There are also fibres of Hiss.
Hello Ranveer, your growth trajectory is truly phenomenal. I appreciate it. A kind request from my side, could you please reduce the volume of the intro music ( only the music part at 2:45) , make it shorter, or perhaps even remove it, as it's a bit disturbing... Thanks, buddy.
