Demi Leigh and Zozibini both competed in the 59th edition of Ms South Africa in 2017 where Demi was the eventual winner while the latter was unplaced. Ms Peters was a heavy favorite for the Ms Universe 2017 crown & was predicted by many pageant analysts as the one who’s going to bag the crown and they were right. In the case of Ms Tunzi, she was one of the frontrunners but the heavy favorite for the crown in 2019 was Ms Puerto Rico. Both Demi & Zozibini are stunning & intelligent women who made their country proud.
From prelims to finals, Zozibini was very very consistent and was so evident that she was the one to beat. Us, Pinoys, were hoping for a back-to-back win, but SA's performance was through the roof that year! Well-deserved!
