Honestly every proposal story I’ve heard starts with the girl having a terrible day, being grumpy, hangry, moody, etc 😂😂😂
Good point! My parents got engaged on Thanksgiving while they were visiting my mom's family and where she used to live. My dad was trying to find a time to propose, so when someone suggested they go visit an old friend, my dad insisted that they don't, which did not make my mom happy. Obviously, it worked out and they visited the friend after the proposal.

My husband wanted to propose at the spot we had our first kiss (at a bench in a park), but he was walking me to the spot and it was a terrible cottonwood season and a freaking chunk of cottonwood literally FLEW UP MY NOSE! So I started sneezing and my eyes swelled up and I was like "OMG we have to go...I need an allergy pill right now!" And he had to pretty much lead me to his car so we could drive to Walgreens. And it ruined his proposal so he had to figure out another way to do it... stupid cottonwood

@@onota8527 he failed again 🤣 he had intentions of proposing at the renaissance festival (one of my favorite places!), But forgot the ring in the car 🤦♀️ so, on the way home, I fell asleep in the car, and he tried putting the ring on my hand while I was asleep and I woke up like "what are you doing?" (My fingers were swollen from being in the 90-100 degree weather all day, so the ring wouldn't go on). And we were pulled over on the side of the street...hmm so romantic. Haha I was kinda annoyed, but he was also annoyed with himself that he failed with both of his proposal ideas so he gave up. 🤷♀️

@@onota8527 lol right, he should have realized that 🤣 he gave up after 2 tries instead of trying a 3rd time. We've been married for 3 1/2 years now, so the proposal doesn't matter too much, it's all a matter if you're going to get married or not. Some people who have extraordinary proposals end up breaking up or calling off their weddings, so 🤷♀️ yeah it's just a funny story now haha

Eww I would be so pissed if my boyfriend took me away from my family and forced me on a walk with him when I'm starving. I get he was nervous, but the girl's happiness should be a priority. I don't want to be mad or hungry when I'm proposed to. He could have exercised more patience and selflessness here.

Now I understand why God brought you two together. Make this awesome channel and compel more followers to Christ. I mean, maybe most effectively too. Just look at how widespread Internet gets to in the world. Even as a long-time saved, young Christian I am able to reach new conclusions about the institution of marriage, and how important it is. I went from my entire childhood to HS graduation thinking "I am going to marry someone 100% certainly", to seeing MGTOW and thinking "I can't marry another woman! She'll screw me over financially!" To now: "I think marriage is a good idea as long as God is at the center of it, and she has God undoubtedly in her heart as much as me" I'll love my life if I stay single forever, but I do enjoy the idea of having children whether I adopt as a single father, or marry.

I was also hangry when my husband proposed too. He came to pick me up realized I was grumpy and hungry. So he drove me through McDonald's to get chicken nuggets to get me fed fast. So I would say yes. 🤣 and it was April fool's day!
