I was sonder if you could help me, my printer (Brother SP1) a week old, prints on the R side of the paper instead of the left making the registration marks backwards for print and cut. any ideas?
@@sewalongwithjan I'm printing from cricut DS, it worked fine the first few print and cut and then it started printing on Right side. The mirror printing is off when I print. Thank you so much for answering.
@@Puamohala12 Are you actually cutting the sublimation prints out with the Cricut? I usually print using Google Drawings or Silhouette Studio. I have printed with Design Space, but normally don't cut out the sublimation prints with the cutter.
Hi Jan, thanks for your informative video. I just purchased my Brother sublimation printer and there was nothing in the instructions about the paper that was glued to the bed of the printer. I almost ripped it off. Thank you for lifting your printer earlier in the video and noting that it isn’t a scanner. I’ll leave the paper on it…. I wish they would print “Do Not Remove”. 😂. Thanks again!
Hi Phyllis! I often open an SVG file up in Cricut Design Space to verify the size of a design. Canvas Workspace reduces the size of SVG files unless the mat size is large enough for the design.
could you help me to resolve my problem? i just both the brother SP-1, it doesn't print the right green color or tilt green color, but the rest of the color are all fine?
Have you printed out the test pages and done maintainance? Are you looking at the colors before or after you have heat pressed on your sublimation blank? The colors print really different than how they press out.
Hi, Jan, Are you referring to the brown tape that Amazon sells that doesn’t work? If so I have used that tape for years and never had a problem. Matter fact it is widely used by RUclipsrs. I do have Cricut tape that was apart of a bundle and I haven’t used that tape. I did hear great things about the tape. I know you prefer not to shop at Amazon that’s why I’m questioning the remark about the brown tape. We all may have issues with these stores how they treat employees or their political affiliations. Just an FYI Harbor Freight is own by Amazon. Thanks, Penny
Thanks Penny! I belong to several sublimation groups and some of the members said they ran across some brownish/yellowish tapes that left marks on their projects. I'm not sure where they got the it. I'm so glad your tape works well for you! Thanks for the info

Are you printing from the Artspira app or your computer? You need to deselect the Mirror setting so it prints the correct way for Print and Cut

I Do. I want to cut an off set for dark material. So I needed to use. The registration marks
@Puamohala12 is the registration ok on your Cricut? Each time you print you will need to turn off the mirror function.
