Just bought my first pair of Topo’s and got the terraventure 4. After wearing Altra and Hoka, I’ll need to see how well they do in comparison, but looking forward to it. I’d suggest less foofoo colors for women and more earth tones. Not all women want pink or purple.
Just bought a pair today and took them out for 10 miles, they felt great! Very grippy and stable. I spend most of my time barefoot and it's hard for me to find shoes that don't feel constrictive and painful. I honestly barely felt that i was wearing them today though. Impressed!!!
I own the Terraventure 4's and they are great for ascending steep mountains and fast downhill trail running. A stable and supportive platform with good grip and protection.
WOW !!! I I Went to the Topo website and you actually have it in a size 14 . Amazing -its like a Big Foot sighting finding my size available . Unfortunately its not THE shoe I want to buy but hopefully sooner than later ? I anxiously await the new versions of your shoes .
Just ordered my first pair! I used the Altra Lone Peak 6's over 80 miles of hiking in the Alps last fall but they seemed to lose their support and cushion after a couple hundred miles. I have high hopes for these and both color options are great!
I love the terraventure, but why oh why do you guys go with nonstandard, proprietary gaiters hooks on the heels? I bought the performance gaiters and they kind of suck (keep sliding off and not that protective from gravel). So… I’m stuck with them. Of course I can glue a piece of velcro on the shoes, but the velcro is now exposed all the time. Please just suck it up and go with the velcro like the Altras. We want to use our favorite gaiters. Your target customers will love you for it.
I just received the T4 from Topo. It's definitely a shoe made for fast or technical trails. It's firm and stable with subtle support in the arch. Vibram sole is grippy and feels durable. Really nice fit especially in the wide toe box.
I absolutely love the Terraventure 3s (I've owned 3). I'm trying to decide between the T4 and the Pursuit. I heard the Pursuit was a little beefier, which might be nice on long road sections (I'm a backpacker). Any advice?

This is a very durable shoe ,42 miles in and they still look and feel brand new

For real, just put some velcro on the back of these things and start dominating the market.

Is this shoe more nimble or more stable\stiff? How does it compare to the Traverse and the MT Racer 3 in terms of stability vs being nimble?

I like many things about the Traverse, but wish it was nimble. Plenty of stability, but to an extreme.
