So many guys infatuated just from seeing a female drummer. Technically you are great very articulate with the strokes but there is little feeling or ferocity in the way you play it is very well being precise but as I've always said "Play them like you bloody mean it or not at all"

she is pretty good but i never saw anyone hold the drum sticks so far down like she does. Choke up on those sticks.
She is not playing in a drum line. Unless I am playing jazz I use a similar grip. Gives your sticking some balls especially with rock weight sticks.

Rob King Has nothing to do with playing in a drum line. My father has been playing the drums for over 40 years now he is 59 and I never seen him hold the sticks the way she does. Most drummers I watch don't either. Not a big deal whatever works for her.

it's all based on comfort and if that's how she likes to hold the sticks then why bother arguing with it? what if your dad's method was the wrong way would you still think the same thing or would you think "There's a difference between people"
