the first red flag to me is that he said "wassup" instead of "hello mister Harvey" I don't know maybe it's just how I was raised.
It's nice that there's parents who are protective and look out for there sons/daughters and I think in the beginning of a relationship any parent would be observing checking out the person who's dating there child. I think it varies with everyone differently in how the person conducts or behaves, what there goals are what there true intentions are towards the person there dating. So they seem like good kids and I'm sure by now dad knows he's dating his daughter, and whether male/female we can sense what someone's intentions are and not all parents will like there child's partner even if there's no reason not to. Also there's parents who like a particular person for there child and what sometimes happens is that there child doesn't" an then there's others who get on it works out as it will, and then there's some who stay with someone but have that in-law relationship from hell. Yet it's life and just the way it is"

Why would an 18 yr old be so desperate to want a boyfriend to meet her dad or introducing him to the world. This is too desperate in my opinion especially when this relationship would most likely not exist in the next year assuming either of them go to college.
