I'm sorry to say this but when other idols cover Mamamoo's choreography, I found it weird that they can't copy the exact movements and didn't have the same feel like Mamamoo did. I don't know why...
imo I think since their choreo is usually paired with their unique voices, unlike other idols who rely heavily in choreo, they can't really imitate them that well.
The thing I find interesting is that any group can cover the songs for other groups like TWICE, BP, Red Velvet, SNSD and the like in competitions because they all seem to follow a certain blueprint in kpop (parts for rapper, main/lead vocalist, etc) so it's great as training new idols. Keep in mind Mamamoo was just as popular as these groups. But Mamamoo doesn't usually get covered because the songs were all arranged with the girls in a way that it makes it almost impossible for other girl groups to use without being such a stark and obvious contrast to the original. An example is when a group did a cover for "You Are The Best" for this idol trainee show called "The Unit" to showcase their vocals. It was good, but it couldn't compare at all to the original, and it shows in such an obvious way (not to mention that Mamamoo's vocals are so unique you can't hear any of their songs without envisioning their voices for their parts, and other voices just fall flat)
