Movement implies (chord) change. Thus one chord is never just one chord when you jam on it. If you see your melody lines consisting of implied mini-harmonies your simple material will always have consistency and meaning.

I'm doing the Jazz Chords for Beginners course right now and the "Ah hah" moments are coming fast and furious even though I'm just slowly working through the chords moving chromatic and by 4ths from GPS 1. It's insane how everything relates to everything, which sounds goofy to say but it's how I feel playing with these ideas.

could anyone tell me the chords at 19:09? The left hand is going up chromatically but Im having trouble transcribing the right hand (very crunchy)
