@@tfft Hey there, thank you for the attention. It would be a pleasure to serve serve you if you decide to come over. We always go the extra mile for our guests.
I’m not sure if you’ve seen it but you guys were heavily featured in my “Best of 2022” video as well. To this day, of all of my videos, this is the one that surprises me doesn’t have at least double the views. Thanks!
@@johnnymacel5392 Hello, the rooftop area is open to the public during most of the day, but after a certain hour in the night it becomes guests only. The specific hours change through the week, it closes earlier on Sundays.
Rio, truly unique. Impossible to describe, either love it or be terrified by it. I just selfishly - from an accessibility angle - wish they spoke Spanish like their neighbors, but I guess the portugues is one more point of difference and otherworldliness. Loved the review! Incredible shots that truly captured the beauty of Copacabana and Sugarloaf. When I get to the stage in life I can stomach spending serious money on hotels, this will be first on the list.
I spent 10 weeks there some years ago and got by easily on my Spanish plus a few words of Portuguese. After a few beers, everyone can speak it fluently haha.
That’s the kinda response I was hoping for! It really is a special property. So much crammed into a small footprint. Hope they’ll open a few more. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I love this hotel and thank you for posting all these very informative and visually stunning videos & reviews (both the good and the bad) ! It really helps me as a traveller to make informed choices and broaden my horizon! Please keep making videos (some more of Rio de Janeiro maybe in the future? My favourite city!) Venice would also be on top of my list. I will remain an avid subscriber and enjoy watching your next adventures! Thank you! 👍
Nice video. I’m going to rio next month and I’m torn staying at this hotel or the Janeiro hotel. Both look great, but your review is leaning me towards the Emiliano. Greetings from Mexico
@@tfft that’s my corner of the world! I’ve stayed in many luxury properties in that area. Very much looking forward to see what you think of them!!! Thanks for all your hard work!
My pleasure ☺️ I live in SE Asia also so in the future even on my trips to Europe and America you’ll routinely see stops in Bangkok, Sing etc where I can usually get better flights than from my home airport (Saigon).

Your reviews are great. I've never been in a 5-star hotel but would love to plan a trip with my three girls. Could you suggest the best value 5-star hotel anywhere in the world (for example, the best price for a Executive Club or included meals) ? Thank you!
That is far too open ended of a question for anyone to answer lol. If you’d like to take a deep dive into it I’m happy to connect through my Patreon. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Well that's a first: your first review that made me want to fly a long, long way - risking my luggage going missing in Madrid - just for the sake of visiting a hotel, rather than a city/resort. Room-rates high on Tripadvisor today but I'll look out for a bargain. Hangers? Could do with some more - but a job for the butler, I think. So how does one tip the butler? Up-front payment? Something at the end, having kept them in suspense for a week? Or something every time they pitch up? Must dig out my Debrett's for some guidance. P.S. The modern standard for hotel safes should be that they're big enough to hold a laptop. That one looked like it passed.
Very glad you liked it. As for the safe, I have so many hard drives, devices and what not that If I could have my way, I’d get a safe that I could pop my whole spinner in haha- perhaps asking too much.

Emiliano employee here, gotta say: working there is a heck of an experience, place really is next level compared to others in our city.
Was literally just talking about it yesterday when someone asked me “if you could go anywhere, right now… where?”
It was Emiliano or Tokyo 😅

Hi mate. If you could share à informar, is the rooftop area open to the public or only to hotel guests?

Sadly 60's-70's decorated, low ceilings and dirty. I'm looking at the rooms now and $1,000/ night for the ocean...no thank you!
I mean, if you don't like Brazilian design, then clearly this wasn't the place for you anyway lol
