Jim this music should be shared with the current generation. I've done some old country songs for younger people and they don't know it's old country because I use my own interpretation. Yes, he reached his peak in the mid-80's and I used to listen to him on the C-W stations when I was stationed in North Carolina while in the Marine Corps. His voice was quite unique which is why he stood out to me. Definitely not music you wanted to listen to if you had a bad day.

And there's the house at 3305 E. Sunshine Blvd. that we rented for most of the spring into summer, with the fenced-in Olympic-sized pool in the backyard. Funny the memories some songs bring back.

I contacted Jim via e-mail and he autographed his new CD for me. he hasn't been able to get his first album put onto CD. so be careful with his first one on cassette. it isn't replaceable.
Terrie Wiese The Man In The Mirror was released on CD. I have a brand new one. It's still sealed. I bought it at ET's record shop in Nashville years ago.
