Had the 110, traded it... regretted it... Bought the 140 to replace it, still want the 110! I got the Skrama 80, 200 and 240 and they are all awesome!!!!
I’ve often wondered if paying $70 and waiting nearly two months for an obscure foreign countries take on a budget bushcraft knife based on your recommendation was worth it......and now I know it was. Thank you!
@@varusteleka yeah it got lost, twice😢... but you guys made it right! Most likely one of the best companies I’ve ever dealt with!!! Plus it was absolutely worth the wait!
I’m at about 1 1/2 months waiting currently in U.S. to receive a 140 puuko, and a 240 skrama that I ordered in mid September. But am pretty sure they will be worth the wait
This and the Manly Patriot...set for life.. I have spent a lot on cutting tools (and i will continue)but i can tell you , this knife is a pure fckn tool, love it...
I have all three (85, 110, 140). They are truly excellent knives for the price -- and the sheaths are wonderful, too. I like Mora, but IMO these are superior. I have the two Skramas (200, 240) on order, and I should have them in a few days. Shipping to the US has been very reasonably priced and very quick. I would recommend a purchase of any of these over any of the Moras, if you are looking for knives of that type, in this price range.
Hell yeah, these are awesome, I also am getting a skrama 240,I absolutely love my 140mm, at first glance I thought it'd be too big, been got to thinking I'd have more real a state when batoning through wood an also as a defensive tool out in the bush if this was all I had on me,been great so far,I usually don't do tip testing due to fear of many knives breaking, nut these an the gerber strong arm are great for it an great heat treat, I highly recommend this company from Finland.
the Jääkäripuukko is not full tang? I can not saw in the video. Love Moras and their quality/cost benefits, but I'm in doubt if the cost would rise that much for it.
@@brunomoura2091 They have a "full tang" strictly speaking, but I think it narrows as it goes to the back. The large lanyard ring at the end is the same steel as the blade.
I've used and abused this knife for several years now on occasions, like border crossings, where my beloved Cold Steel Trailmaster Bowie, or one of my Kukri's would be frown upon and/or confiscated. This knife served me very well indeed, and has an excellent quality/price index. I gave several away as presents, and you can give this knife to friends and be sure they remain friends. best knife i have ever owned, I have hammered it through nails, pipes, wires, whole houses. Only takes a touch of the stone to bring it right back. Superb steel & tempering
Buy one of these and you will just end up buying one of every model. They are just that good for the money. The JCB's of work knives, just cost a lot less. The 240 Skrama is my favourite.

And I have some knives in range of 800 to 1000 $ US. The combination of hardness 59 hrc, toughness, thickness, weight, easy of sharpening, edge retention and list go on. If this knife, with its characteristics was product of some fancy custom US knife maker or fancy Company it would cost 250 to 350 $ US easily. You cannot find the equivalent quality leather sheath that it comes with it under 100 $ US.

@@kennywheelus6857 for sure, the handle on the jakkari puukko fits to hand, it’s not complicated and it feels like the rubber is gripping back when you grip it. The one place the Garberg excels is the spine, it’s super sharp and the 14c27n is brilliant for Scottish weather but that being said the jakkari puukko can still throw sparks, and maintained the steel will have no issue either.
You shouldn't have told the company ahead of time that you were going to torture test it and to please send one for that purpose.
