I absolutely loved your video Gabe! As I do with all of your Star Wars videos. But, this video especially, I’ll say it one of my favourite videos of yours so far, over all the years you’ve been doing your replica videos! And there’s really saying a lot since, every single one of your videos are just excellent and so interesting. I know I’ve Sent you a DM. But, I sent you loads of love and support! And Remember the force will be with you always.
Hey Gabe, I do enjoy your videos and IG posts. You’ve got a great collection. I do want to point out what I believe to be an inaccuracy in your video. Obi-Wan did lose his lightsaber in the fight with Darth Maul and they created a new saber with slight differences to Episode I with the intention that it shows a progression. MR made an Obi-Wan Ep II saber and it notes what I’m saying in the paperwork. I say this with total respect and appreciation for what you’re doing. Thank you!
You are 1000% correct! I just couldn’t get an EP2 one for the video. But I pulled the 3 differences off the COA for everyone’s reference! See below: • The pommel cubes on the EP I lightsaber were square with small holes through them. But on the EP2 saber they were more triangular and without holes. •On the EP1 lightsaber, the three LEDs near the emitter had clear white lenses in the center. On the EP2 lightsaber, theseLEDs were chrome-plated. • On the EP I prop, a bicycle air valve adapter was used as a control switch, butthe EP2 version of the prop featured a custom-made control switch
@@StarWarsReplicas You are correct. I have the MR Ep II. I purchased most of what MR offered when they were first available. I chose not to buy a few items and regret some of those choices (Fett's blaster mostly). Anyway, keep up the great work as an ambassador of Star Wars prop collecting! See you around the community! :-)
Amazing replicas. I have an original run Yoda Force FX from the early 2000s that I love, despite being dinged up just a tad. 3:00 why does the replica have two plaques?
@@tripl3stan I thought perhaps it’s a plaque from a different version of the prop the owner previously had that was left over and so they just displayed it because why not😂 how odd?
You know Mark Hamill actually said when he was reunited with the actual prop from return of the Jedi that they actually just took the original ANH Obi saber and change it, so the original obi lightsaber no longer exists because Mark uses the same prop in ROTJ just jazzed up for Luke
That confuses me because of you compare lukes lightsaber to the obi wan lightsaber the parts look different, they are similar but the parts are different so that leads me to believe it still exists
@@Glenn_Quaggs I didn’t say they were the same I said they took parts from the Alec Guinness prop and used it for the ROTJ lightsaber for Luke, they made so Luke took inspiration from Obi when he was training after Empire using the Jedi texts, hence my point why the original movie plot for Obi Wans lightsaber doesn’t exist anymore because they used bits from it for Luke’s prop
Great video. Love these sabers and am lucky enough to own the Epi III model. Looking forward to the Kenobi series. Keep up the awesome content.
Great video, Gabe!
Very cool video man. Wish I could own all of these lol
Awesome video I totally love Obi Wan Kenobi’s lightsabers but episode 4 has got to be the one
This is beautiful stuff!!!!
Oh man...I remember once owning Anakin/Luke's saber from MR...sold it for about nothing...wish I had known they'd become so rare

I have the same one and mine has two plaques as well. Not sure why.

You are missing Episode II as well as the “As First Built” Episode IV limited to only 500 units. But wonderful video nonetheless.
Will you get Anakin's lightsaber from Episode II and III someday?
Obi Wan AFBB (As First Built By) I think is the hardest to find... 500 pieces only Worldwide.
Ufff!!!!
Chulo de Bonito ese Sable Gabe!!
Yea I like Rocky, man 👨
