You go up and park at the parking lot with the log cabin at the top of Berthoud Pass, then you hike straight up that face behind it which is on the east side of the road. You'll see the weather station at the top to your right when you get up high enough, but keep hiking east and you will see this area. It can get pretty gnarly over there so watch out I've got stuck there on sheer ice and lucked out. It leads down to a sweet funnel that brings you down to the road.
