  • The eighteenth Mapping Ancient Africa seminar was delivered by Kumar Akhilesh (Sharma Centre for Heritage Education) on behalf of members of the "PalaeoHome" project. Co-authors were: Prachi Joshi, Yanni Gunnell, Anupama K, Doris Barboni, Vandana Prasad, Mohammad Sahnouni, Sileshi Semaw, Razika Chelli. In the presentation the INQUA funded "PalaeoHome" project was introduced. This project focuses on the importance of hominid dispersal to, and within, the Indian sub-continent and a number of important archaeological sites were detailed.
