OK, gonna try to answer all your questions. 1. Ronnie is his own genre. He grew up listening to rap and its easy to see the influence of that in his music, but his songs are more about telling his stories and creating his visions without being boxed in by one style of music. 2. His past includes being abandoned by his mom at a young age, struggling with addiction, going to prison, and struggling with his mental health, just to name a few. He was kicked out of his first band when he went to prison and wrote FIR's first album while incarcerated, but he has never given up and says that everything he's faced has only given him more reason to fight and is why he's gotten to where he is. 3. He's expressed frustration about fans and others expecting him to be perfect or behave a certain way because he's a celebrity, but he's like Yo, I'm a human and make mistakes just like anyone else. 4. The black goo represented black tar heroin, which was his drug of choice, and the woman dressed in silver represents the silver spoon that's used to prepare the heroin for use. And then he is high and floats into the heavens (is he floating or falling in reverse? 🤔) So this song is about him not being ready to change yet. He is a true artist and everything he does is purposful. That being said, all his songs/videos are up for interpretation, but I believe this was his vision when creating this trilogy, and you'll get to see the story unfold more as you continue.

Thank you so much!!! Would you be okay with me shouting you out by your name in my next video? I would like to share some of this because I know you took the time to write it up and maybe some of my audience would benefit from this bg information as well

@@xFayzeIf you want more background, go listen to “Raised by the Wolves”. Diss track for his old band, Escape the Fate. He said “one day they’ll see, it was always me”. 12 years later, he was obviously right as they are pretty niche and he is huge almost 20 years into his career.

Okay after the trilogy The Drug in Me Is You and The Drug in Me Reimagined that order. You are a great reactor, just the right amount of commentary. The girl was Heroine.

Fun fact- on an older clip Ronnie has said that Eminem is his favorite artist also said that Em influenced him starting to write his own music on his track Fair Weather Fans.
The women is a metaphor for a spoon and the goo represents heroin that Ronnie was addicted too back in the early 2000.

“Alone” from 2013 is a good genre mix in his earlier days.

The trilogy tells the story about his spiritual awakening. “Let’s take the throne and break the cycle” talking about nonconformity. 1st song- accepting change. 2nd- self reflection and finding his self worth and the 3rd- he’s calling out society and the music industry

Just a quick tip for future FIR videos-----it was totally fine on this one because of the long outro but there are several of the videos that seem over but aren't or have an quick add on at the very end, etc. so best to play them play out from this point forward. Just don't want you to miss anything down the road. :)

Yoo I was one of those people on Twitter who had falling in reverse in my top Spotify plays lol, also once ur finished with the trilogy another good song you should check out by falling in reverse is I'm not a vampire revamped. That one is really insane and has all kinds of notes and melodies and it's really deep

Great reaction! Please don't end the other parts of the trilogy early, or you will miss something.
Losing my Mind is my least favorite part of the trilogy, I'm looking forward to your reactions to the next ones.
    Greetings from Germany

He blends everything together in a way that is pleasing to hear. In a lot of ways it’s everything you say is lacking in pop music when you listen to it.
As an example, Taylor Swift could do whatever she wanted, in any genre, and people would buy it. Yet she still makes songs about high school and Kim Kardashian. It’s pretty ridiculous that people still buy into it, but they do.
