I just can't get hooked up. It asks for my email and when I type it in a popup comes up that says network exceptions
The problem is that TT router app is no longer available and product is now obsolete. Taotronics support informed me.😢
Hello, just bought a taotronics router and the app does not work does not even appear in the play store send an email to them and they answered this Thank you for the prompt response. While the TT Router app is being updated, We came across an alternative application that is compatible with your device and it's called "NETGEAR NIGHTHAWK - WIFI APP" for both android and IOS. Please let us know if this alternative would work.

ugh !!! video is salesman pitch. its crap. NO SETUP INFO.
I literally show you the app features. If you don't know how to plug-in an ethernet cable and download an app...you need more assistance than what one video can provide LMAO
I cannot set up the children nodes. The main unit will not change from solid blue to solid green. So the children nodes are not being recognized. TT in Singapore was not helpful in soling this problem.
Do these automatically connect to the closest router? Are there multiple devices shown on Wi-Fi settings or do they merge into one?

Looking for a unit with parental controls where I can shut down my sons computers after a certain time of night on school nights. Can this units parental controlled support this?
yes
It won't shut down your computer but you can turn off the internet going go to the computer. You can do that on any router by logging into the router gateway interface. There is an "Access Control" menu where you can deny Access to a device.
In a different review someone said you couldn’t separate the 2.4 and 5.0 network. I like having 2 different network names. Can you do that now? Not sure if they updated firmware if that was true.
