Love it and much appreciated! I learned this song several years ago by ear, but in D standard, and it was a mess lol. I wanted to pedal on an open D and maintain the same tuning for an entire Ghost set, but then I lost the bottom note of the chorus so I adapted by going up an octave. I never liked how it came out and it was a pain to play, so I’ve been meaning to relearn this in Drop for some time now, and now I can with your tabs!

thank you for posting! i started trying to teach myself a little over two weeks ago and your videos have been a great tool for me! sorry if this is a dumb question - but i was wondering if playing any of the songs you post would be any different on a short scale or if i can continue to learn as i have been?

Not a dumb question at all! It depends. If your short scale bass has been setup and tuned for EADG tuning you’ll probably find the string tension to be less when you tune DGCF or CGCF. It may make the song easier to play, but you might find excessive string rattle or notes choking out. If you’re going to play in an unstandard tuning a lot like ghost do, I’d recommend setting up your bass for that tuning, short scale or not!
That low string sounds tight!! What string gauges you are using in this? Love the sound!
