I dont care anymore even if he didnt win the tdf this year for me it's like he won it. He was flying in front of everyone 20 days out of 21. This guy crashed 2 years in a row, got back pain from it, raced in pain and still crushed people in 2021 and 2022. Racing with chronic pain shows real mental strengh, this is nothing compared to having a bad day. Chronic pain is hell, you can never feel relief even while sitting or lieing in bed, this crap made me stop competing in track and field. So riding with it must be awful. Other than that i love his position on the bike so much, you feel all the power he has in his legs just by looking how less he uses his arms to sprint or push hard. He is close to cancellara in term of elegance of style of riding, no parasite movements, pure efficient riding. Even though remco is in a league of his own for his weight.
