Holy crap that's Ian!! As someone who had a father that didn't care about offroading and never taught me much about vehicles in general, Ian and the Powerblock guys are responsible for teaching me sooo much of what I learned as a kid and what started my love of the automotive hobby.
Glad to see you guys got to wheel with Nate and Ian. I was hoping Holly would show up too. All my faves on one vid! Love you guys. Brit, you're killin it with the editing and music!!!
Having so many different kinds of jeeps, approach techniques and tire sizes going up the same line from the same angle is very cool. It helps to see the dynamics, finesse and techniques that work the best, especially for a given vehicle type. Cool stuff!
Jeeps snaking through some of the most rugged scenery in the USA! Who needs an automated "Bronco" with the driving skills of Kevin and all these other great drivers. Y'all ought to get together and built custom Jeeps for sale to the rest of us unskilled. Riding on a cloud of?? What a boobie thing to say! Loved It! LiteBriteNationRock&RollParty! Thank You!
Such a fun video 🤣. I can’t wait to send it to my Moab group as some of us “made the cut” and we’re driving down wipeout...or hanging out with the dogs on the other side of the trail. As always, it was great chatting with you...for those of you who haven’t met them, Kevin & Brittany are the coolest and so down to earth. The spot with Nate driving the Stepchild and “being Kevin” was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 Already looking forward to next year!!!
Great video as always! Just wrapped up my first ever trip this weekend. Hit Rausch Creek with my local club and did Cemetery amongst others. But y’all saved my hard top about 3/4 through Cemetery. I’m pretty sure that in an old video, after the first long rock garden, you pointed out a short stump on the left that would push you into the tree on the opposite side. I remembered that clear as day as I came up on it. Stopped my jeep and got out-sure enough there’s a pile of broken tinted hardtop glass at the foot of the tree from all those non-LiteBrite subscribers. They should know better. 😆
I was there for my 3rd EJS. We ran elephant hill, top of the world, fins n things twice (2nd time was a night run), porcupine rim and hell roaming rim. Fabulous trip with good friends and great weather. Didn't break anything, rubber side was down....mostly. I saw the stepchild around town a couple of times. Acquired some bling at the vendor show too. Great video. Be safe. Shiney side up, rubber side down.
3:50 I think Kevin slowed down a little bit just so he’d get caught up on the rock a little. Didn’t want to “show up” his friends too bad in the Stepchild.
That music is pretty trippy you're playing in the beginning at sounds like an air raid siren turned into beatnik!!!! Turnin out some great videos lately,... not that you weren't doing good before but you've definitely stepped it up a couple notches!!!!! (Literally!!😆😃😄🤙)
Great video as always guys. Every time I watch a new video I get sooooo jealous, not because of your awesome collection of vehicles, the amazing locations you get to wheel in or the very many friends you made. It's the fact that you get to enjoy your many adventures together as husband and wife. I took my wife on the easiest trail my club does years ago and she was terrified the entire time so she has never been back in the Jeep off road. I'm looking forward to being jealous of you two for many many years to come.
Still waiting on Ian to release more videos of his build. A nice walk around. Step child again being an absolute beast. One hell of a rig. Looks like a great time.
Woke up this morning and what do I see, 2 new videos from my 2 favorite new LiteBrite Nation and Justin Johnson, lot of pain in my body,But,I know that it's going to be a Great Day today, because my 2 favorite Channels did uploads today!!
Just did this same trail section yesterday and ended on the Pickle also. I can't wait to see the Billings video since I already know what happened. You were out there with my peeps.
Cool. That looked to me like parts of 7 mile/wipe out hill, then over to Tusher tunnel and then on to the Pickle? Yes? Anyway, good trail combo and cool video! 7 mile one of my favs. for t he scenery! Awesome. 4 weeks to go!
Go Yukon. Bought a Yukon limited slip for my Dana 44 and a Yukon locker for my 14 bolt on my 73 K20 I am restoring. Hope I made the right choice with so many options.
I saw a few hemi swapped jeeps at EJS. I was a little surprised. Is there something specific about the hemi that overcomes the weight disadvantage compared to LS swaps?
@@kylegreen378 as I understajd it if you are swatting a Jeep with electronics it is easier to make all the electronics work with a mopar item (Hemi). If you pout an LS in a Jeep you are pairing a GM item with a Chrysler two competitors. And some may disagree but I personally like the Hemi for reliability. I have known many many LS or GM motors that are far more costly and in some cases less well built. Dont get me wrong though the performance out of an LS is unmatched in my opinion
You know what’s wrong with this channel? I’ll tell you. My wife and I are not Jeep drivers but we both truly enjoy this channel. We anxiously await Wednesdays and Sundays so we can see the next video. Now here’s the problem. We get so used to seeing the Step Child and everyone else’s built rigs that when we see stock Jeeps on the road our thoughts are “Oh, aren’t those little tires cute.” and also wonder why it sites so low.
Love to watch your channel, I only have an old 2wd huge truck. No rocks or mud or trails for me. How do you get over the feeling that your doing damage to these expensive trucks ?
If they’re built correctly, you generally aren’t doing any damage. It usually just sounds worse than it is. Basic maintenance, good parts, & smart driving and most off road builds will last a really long time!
We kept hitting road blocks (trails being closed indefinitely or during certain seasons etc - and it just made it difficult to schedule. So we decided to just hit them as we come across them naturally
@@LiteBrite I've been a EJS Trail Official and RR4W member for over 20 years so here's a little bit about where you ran on this night run. Your trip began on the Wipe-Out Hill Trail where your group climbed Wipe-Out Hill. The direction you ran it is now referred to as the "Backwards Bill Trail" in reference to a former RR4W club president Bill Hughes, that preferred to run Wipe-Out Hill in the backwards direction. From the top of Wipe-Out Hill you drove a portion of the "Sevenmile Rim Trail" past Determination Towers into Tusher Canyon and visited the Tusher Tunnel. Determination Towers was first identified formally by the H.L.A. Culmer Expedition of 1905 and the three main spires are actually named individually as Determination, Aeolian and Echo Tower. Culmer was a landscape artist of some note a hundred years ago and brought the first public attention to the area even though cattlemen had known of it for years before. One of those cattlemen was John Teuscher who moved to the Moab area in 1881 and the "Tusher" spelling we now use is actually a misspelling of John Teuscher's name which was applied by the USGS from the common local area pronunciation of the name. The area was tagged with John's name after he rode his horse onto one of the mesa tops and couldn't find his way back down for four days. He finally turned his horse loose and had the horse lead them both off the mesa. Then you wheeled "The Pickle" off of the 3D Trail. This year I spit out the rear driveshaft on the XJ trying to climb Dill Pickle. The 5.0 low range in the Atlas can easily snap u-joints! We then switched to the JK to finish the remainder of EJS 2021. Enjoy the channel Kevin & Brittany, keep 'em coming!

Good choice of music as usual. The sound of the Step Child when the loud pedal is pressed is also good music.

If you didn’t have the Hemi would you put a diesel in the StepChild?
Possibly! We originally wanted a diesel in our JL but knew it’d be forever before Jeep would release it. 😊
