Hi nice video. Out of curiosity how many gears (parts) this movement has? And I am planning to buy Longines Conquest with same movement cal.L888. What's your opinion on this watch? Thanks
No offense but this isn't just a 2892-A2 movement. It's heavily modified. IWC recommends letting them do the overhaul, not independent watch makers. A. the mainspring B. the barrel C. the escape wheel D. the pallet fork E. the complete balance including the balance spring The entire escapement is a good example. It is ordered separately with different, more exact technical IWC specifications and is only fitted int the calibre at the end of the assembly. Reg ETA parts are usually used instead of IWC ones by independent watch makers. If that happens it's really no longer a calibre 30110 but a 2892-A2. I made this same mistake. My watch was running -1 a day. After a service mine was running +6 a day. This is because they used ETA parts and not IWC ones. And it was not tested or calibrated correctly like IWC does. I had IWC redo the service. They commented it was running out of spec because of the wrong parts were used. If you have IWC 30110 be cautious where you send it too. Saving a few hundred dollars isn't worth a independent watchmaker destroying your watch movement by using non ETA parts.
Watching these videos is very therapeutic. Thank you.
Thanks for watching😀
@@watchmakerjd8525 Do you have any videos of ETA 2893-2 or SW330 movements? I am curious as to how the quick set 24 hour hand works.
By Chance do you know the part number for the stem of the ETA 2892-a2? much thanks
Thank you so much for sharing
Thanks for watching😊
is the new Calibre 35111 based on SW300 also similar in assembling as this one?

I counted 63 parts. How many did y'all count? I thought there would be about one hundred.
Is there a spacer between the dial movement on these watches?
There is no dial spacer, but there is a movement holder. Thanks😊
Hello.
How often should service be carried out for this movement?
Thanks
Every 5 to 7 years.
Be nice to stay in focus🙃
Mmm.......nearly six seconds a day fast. Should be able to adjust this out to less than a second a day!. The 2892 A2 is a pretty good movement.
6 sec per a day falls within the normal range, so there is no need to adjust it yet.
Thanks for watching :)
@@watchmakerjd8525 Can definitely be better
I suppose regarding the watches the hardest and most time consuming!

you forgot to install hacking stop
You completely skipped the assembly of the stop lever.
