This is such an underrated soundtrack. When the boy leaves his stallion in the desert because he realizes it's his home, I always choke up, especially with this melody playing. It's such a bittersweet ending.
I would have to agree with you, because I remember Renting This Movie when it was Released on VHS, I Remember This Part, I remember being so emotional, I remember going through over a dozen tissues, it just hurts me Seeing Him let his Best Friend Go Free, after everything that they've been through, it's so heartbreaking.

The lines, "I think he belongs here; maybe I'll be back" are so sad. Due to Kelly Reno's tractor trailer accident, he never returned to the screen as Alec so we could see him get to see his beloved horse again.
God I just love Track 19: Finale and End Title, it's just so beautiful, Calming, but it gets exciting and thrilling, I remember renting this movie when it was released on VHS, for the next few hours I sat on the couch in Spellbound Silence, From Start to Finish, It was Amazing, This Movie had a lot of Action than all the Indiana Jones Movies Combined, The Locations were so Amazing, The Costumes were Unbelievable, the best part of all was when Alec let his Best Friend (The Black Horse) Go and be with his own kind, after everything that they had been through together, He had gone halfway across the world to be reunited with him, having been conned, and God knows what else, and the Daring Rescue, also Winning the Race, AWESOME!!.
