This video is so real and not sugar coated. He gets straight to the point. Money is probably the main reason why I wanna study law, I am not a good test taker and I am okay in time management. I feel like I am facing reality here and am giving my career choice a second thought. Thanks for the video!
You can always train for any test. There’s nothing impossible in this word we live in. Recently, I came across a post in LinkedIn of a man, who graduated fromlaw school in his 50s while having both of his children in college (obviously paying for them, too). And he made it. Moreover, he managed to work during his time in LS. Everything’s possible if you really want it.
Seems like starting out as a paralegal might be a way to get paid and check-out the lawyer life, before deciding whether or not to commit to law school.
Fun fact about long term debt or especially student loans. Just get the monthly payments down as much as possible, think of it as simply another monthly bill til you die. So what if you pay it off in 30 years when your 50. You'll have lost all the money you could've invested to that, and now you're too old to enjoy your money and only have maybe another 10-20 years as a lawyer to make more money. Haggle the monthly payments down.
the thing about becoming an anesthesiologist is silly; med students accrue significant debt possibly more than law school and then have to go through residency on very low pay. anesthesiology is a 4 year residency making possibly only 50k w/ 2-400k in debt.
I'm in my 40's and I always wanted to be a lawyer . Your channel has inspired me to possibly look into getting back into it. Is it possible to be a lawyer without becoming a member of the Bar ? Probably a dumb question, but some people are allowed to represent themselves in court , or file a lawsuit against someone, how does that work? I want to help people who have been scammed or ripped off . I want to give lawyers a good name; like you are doing!
I’m considering planning to go to law school in the future, after I graduate with my bachelors. I’ve given up on some of those far fetched childhood dreams, but being a lawyer is something I would bet a lot of time and money that I could accomplish if I decided to do it. The fact that it’s achievable, worth doing, and is a highly respected occupation makes me enjoy fantasizing about it in the future. Telling my parents I got into law school, passed the bar, and graduated law school would be kind of an unbeatable dream at this point in my life. Aside from that, I’ve always been a person who likes helping people, I love debating, and I am good with words. I’m not a numbers and math guy. But give me a point to argue, and I’ll go at it for hours. I think that I would greatly enjoy the competition aspect of presenting a case against another lawyer, especially if the stakes are high and the payoff is helping a client. The only thing that I can see turning me away from it is if the job ended up feeling boring and repetitive with all the paperwork. The strategizing and arguing in court, that would be the fun part
I can check off all those boxes and still wouldn’t be my first career but now idk - both my parents told me I would be good just bc I “like to argue” 😅😅
I am 25 my father always told me I should be a lawyer, and I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice I am currently working at a factory and will soon be making 75 000 to 100,000 with overtime should I try to become a lawyer and leave my job its a tough decision my wife's makes more money than I do so I do have some financial freedom
It also requires a fascination for other-peoples-problems. - I would take a seat in the gallery for a few mundane cases, if you're still inspired - see a phycologist
Do you think I can become better at time management? I’m good with everything else, but I’ve procrastinated a lot before, everything always gets done, but sometimes I burnout. Can I get better at it and be a successful lawyer?
Why don't you get me five minutes to explain to you about passionate people of the existence of humanity? Because it will find you suitable to listen to people from the street the people that you very well represent everyday for-profit? Yes sir or no sir? Yes sir or no ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️

So what? Lawyers are paid more that any average jobs out there as well as medical doctors and as he mentioned, anaesthesiologists. If that’s what you truly want, go for it! It’ll be worth it
This was actually a really helpful video. I decided I won't be a Lawyer, I think that's a good thing for me and for everyone tbh. On a side note I don't know anything about 70's rock. Give me a song please
I really enjoyed your video up until you said something about representing republicans... this is the issue with America.... Why is a republican a bad person.???
I love the video but the republican joke really got me like damn you tried to put Republicans up there with child rapist I'm more a liberaterian, but hearing the republican joke really made me be like damn. I wouldn't refer to hard core liberals in the same light as child rapists... I get it was a joke so great video man I appreciate it

This means you MUST NOT represent democrats.
Everything about being an attorney sounds great EXCEPT those student loans!
Lol I disagree, I would have been paid mine off I was just stupid. Lol
Here in Germany I can go to college for free
If you get into a top law school they’ll give you plenty of need based aid.

Lawyers cannot represents people
Attorneys (members of bars) can
