Great tips! Being a good co-pilot is an excellent tip! I didn’t even think of that one! Those pups sure are spoiled ❤🐶

Why do you think our pups are spoiled? ;-)
Safe travels. Tina and I will be up that way sometime this year!

Being a good Co-pilot is so important & you sound like you make a lot of snacks! The dogs are clearly spoiled as they should be!! Thanks for having us again as guests!

Oh boy is it. As the designated driver and many times on some LOOONNGG drive days, I (David) need that little extra help at times. You think the pups are spoiled? They are TERRIBLY spoiled!! LOL.
Yes, we loved having you guys back.. Safe journey!

A good co-pilot, with good communication is a must! And we agree, having guest can add stress & more work! One time, for two weeks, we had our daughter and 3 Grandkids - got stressful!! Plan and be willing to adapt is so spot on! I plan and Lynn wouldn't make a reservation, I leave flexibly in the schedule!

Yeah, the co-pilot was so important for us. First it keeps us both engaged on the drive and not get boring. Although I think I've seen Tina falling asleep at times! zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Thanks again you two for another great video month!

Great tips! I love the one about plan but be flexible. Being flexible is absolutely a necessity in the RV. We call it getting comfortable with chaos!

    • @RVWagginTails
      @RVWagginTails  9 месяцев назад +2

Yeah, Tina really painted me in a bad light about not being flexible. (Just kidding hun). Our travel days are fairly strict, but our "site plans", "things to do/see" are really more easy going. Since we are limited on our days out (at the moment) the travels become our critical path (for any of you Projects Managers out there).
      Thanks sticking with us.

@@RVWagginTails I forget sometimes that not everyone is full-time. When you only have a limited time to travel I can see planning it out as best as you can.
And Tina didn't pain you in a bad light in our minds. You're the planner, she's more spontaneous, you wind up doing both. That's honestly the best way to do it.

@@ourrvsunsets I was teasing. She really didn't paint me in a bad light. Just poking fun at myself.

Nice driving and travel tips! Many good points for travel days and while your in the RV. Having time alone is always good and communication is key for sure. So funny we also have all the same exact items for our dogs its so funny many times we have said it is more stuff then when we had kids. LOL! Thanks for the tips such a good collaboration topic for us all!

Yeah, I think all of our groups touched on a topic or two that were same. I guess great minds DO think alike!
Loved Rons book he was reading! LOL.
      Thanks for hanging with us.

It might be cold outside, but the good news is the days are getting longer...lol. Co-Pilot = Information Officer. The driver needs to be completely focused on the road. It is recommended that drivers look away from the road for NO MORE than two seconds at 70 mph. For safety reasons, I think kids and pets should stay in the truck until you are unhitched, or at the very least until you are completely backed in. My wife and I divide and conquer too. I typically do everything outside while she is taking care of the inside. We are both organized, but she is very organized so she makes excellent use of the storage space inside. I organize the stuff in the outside storage areas.

Thanks John, Thank you for watching and supporting us! Yeah, I usually keep it between 65 - 70, using 70 to pass if needed. There is a lot to watch. I really keep an eye on my gauges and surroundings.

Hi, Thank you for sharing this video. You two sound a lot like my husband and I. We are not full-time yet. So we are still weekend warriors. We have a small 25-foot camper for the next 5 to 6 years until we are ready to buy our retirement rig. We are always trying to simplify, but it's so hard. We are always running into " Oh darn, I need this do to this, but we took it out of the camper." It gets frustrating but comical at times. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Happy camping!

Thank Tina for watching. When we chose this topic Tina (My Tina) and I both reflected back to a time before your channel. We were on the 405? In California I believe and traffic was a mess. This was before Google Maps was so prevalent. As I'm trying not to get run over by faster cars than us, Tina was doing something on her phone and I said "I could use a little help over here". LOL.
Thanks for watching us, if you have any suggestions on future videos, please let me know.

Great tips. Small spaces with just 2 people is hard but factor in not 1 but 2 “waggin tails” well then you have to be super creative.

I think I was in your model rig at the RV show at the KY Expo Ctr. today. I am looking to maybe buy an F-250 to tow a Reflection 150 series 260rd 5ver from Campers Inn. Had to run it past “the boss” tonight to get the go ahead. Going to a camp ground called Friends O’ Mine CG to see the eclipse on April 5th to the 10th. Only $45/ night FHUs Ceraland in Mt. Vernon, IN was charging $100/ night for FHU. Their normal price is $45 to $52 for FHUs.
