Keep the info coming bro I love your videos! I’m currently that guy that’s trying to get all the knowledge but hasn’t done anything. I’m trying to take action but the thought of trying to have everything perfect is what’s killing me!
Thanks for the regular guy videos. So much hype hustle b.s. on youtube and social media. I used to do single color screen printing back in the day and was thinking getting into it again.
I wanted to thank you 🙏 your videos has been very inspirational and helpful I just started screen printing and it has been so much fun a lot of happy mistakes lol but since I come across your videos I have made much better shirts I look forward to seeing more of your work Cheers
Depends on the feel your looking for but I will say gilden sofstyle are nice or allstyle has a good brand hoodies I will say independent Co. or GILDAN 185g
This was very helpful thank you. I also have a question when should I charge a client for their shirts? Because I want to go around my town and look for businesses to try and get some orders but I don’t know if I should be charging them upfront before I start working or after I finish their order? I don’t want to lose potential customers or end up losing money
Always charge 50% up front ALWAYS! If they pay the full 100% even better but always charge 50% upfront. I maid the mistake of not charging and when it was time for them to pick up their stuff , they use to take for ever, and a lot of them never came and I lost money and time.
Can you share with me what program you use to design, what programs I need to buy, and what printer and materials I need to get. I greatly appreciate it :)
My brother and I want to start a tshirt business. He is 43 and just found out he has MS. He has 3 children. How do a I sign him up for the giveaway or did it happen already.
Hi mylo thank you so much , this helped me a lot really I just want to ask and if you can answer me a question I would delighted: How can I print T-shirts using heat press at home? How can I Heat press a T-shirt using DTF method but withoout using any special powder under 2? If you could make me a video about the questions I asked , I would tell all people around me about you and I could make a clothing brand plus,I could givw you the support you need And btw I m telling you this becouse on your videos u telled us to make questions for you . Thank you for your attention
Love your channel bro. I started screen printing many years ago. I did one color print for the majority of the time I had the business. I went from slamming the ink on stuff with 120 mesh screens to fine dot matrix/halftones with 1700 mesh. I got into schools and printed school shirts. I started with one school and ended up printing for all the schools in our town. Here's what I did: I cold-called a school and met with the vice principal. I told her who I was and what business I owned. I told her I had an idea and I wanted to run it by her. The idea was to create an art design competition. Which will turn into a school fundraiser. The kids would come up with and submit their designs. The students would pick the winners. 1 winner for each grade (grades 6-8) Then I would print the designs on three Items. A canvas bag, a T-shirt, and a school hankie. The school will receive a 50% of the profit. (after cost) I made some money and helped the school buy some things they needed. But "I got so many orders from other schools". I even got some military accounts from this. The business grew big fast! I sold the business in 2005 by that time I had 3 stores and a warehouse where all the work was being done. The storefront took orders and sent them to the design team. (at the warehouse) When the orders were done the store personnel called the customers to pick up their orders. I was offered an amount I couldn't pass up so I sold the LLC for the store and the printing rights, The LLC for the equipment, the warehouse, and the storefront leases. After that, I opened a car dealership and did that for 10 years and now I'm retired. Watching your channel brings back how it all began for me! If you want to grow? Teach someone else to print, so you can chase customers! Good luck!
